chrisat928 05-22-2011 07:11 PM

RON FUCKING SIMMIONS.

Mr. T refuses to go in.

Jordan 05-22-2011 07:15 PM

Kinda hard to remember who isn't in yet...

Edge for the main spot
Ultimate Warrior
Jim Cornette (wild one, I know)
Bret Hart to induct Owen, Davey, and Pillman

Cuse8 05-22-2011 07:52 PM

edge wont be till 2012 when its in canada and they also wouldnt put so many top guys in i.e both rock and savage together..best guesses are rock, arn, demolition

Wolfpack423 05-22-2011 07:56 PM

The Rock
Macho Man Randy Savage
Elizabeth (It would be appropriate to put them in the same HOF class in my opinion)
Arn Anderson
Demolition

BizarroKing 05-22-2011 08:21 PM

Do you really think they'll put the Rock in this early? Well...yea I guess so...

-The Rock
-Macho Man Randy Savage
-Miss Elizabeth
-Steve Kerin (formerly Skinner, believe he's from Florida and currently a trainer in FCW)
-Sid Vicious (just because)
-Some random celeb, know of any that come from Florida that appeared @ Mania? Don't say Mr. T

You know, I'd say Rock goes in, but Rock, IMO, shouldn't overshadow Savage. It's Miami, but there's a chance Rock will be with WWE in some capacity for years to come.

Having Rock overshadow Savage wouldn't be right IMO. Savage should headline alone. And with so few true headlines, it'd be foolish to combine the two.

YoungFlyFlashy 05-22-2011 09:20 PM

Vince is going to take advantage of Randy's death and headline it with him in 2012, dvds toys, etc etc as well through the year of 2011. The popularity of a death is time sensitive, and Vince knows this. So no Rock or Edge this year, would be pointless.

Gertner 05-22-2011 11:12 PM

Rock
Kevin Sullivan
Savage
Tully Blanchard
Arn Anderson
K Fed :)

Gertner 05-22-2011 11:13 PM

I bet you Sullivan goes in this year. He had a HUGE program with Rhodes I believe in Florida.

Aguakate 05-23-2011 02:46 AM

I mean, now, WWE almost HAS to induct Savage at the next Hall of Fame.

Blue Demon 05-23-2011 10:41 AM

I'd like Owen to go in...but sadly I don't think it's going to happen...and not through any fault of WWE's.

Nope, Bulldog is not in.

Gertner 05-23-2011 03:15 PM

I think some of you are off stating the the WWE won't put in two headliners, when they have in the past

2005 Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper
2006 Eddy Guerrero, Bret Hart
2009 Stone Cold and Steamboat.

Let's face it. The Rock was a bigger star than Savage, so the idea of Savage and The Rock going in isn't that far fetched, especially due to the Florida connection.

They're running out of those top guys through, so they might want to stretch it out.

Gertner 05-23-2011 03:23 PM

I'm guessing 2012 will be headlined by Edge and Benoit. K, maybe no Benoit lol.

They still have guys like Foley, Nash, Undertaker, HHH who looks like he's going to be done soon that could easily headline.

Xero 05-23-2011 03:55 PM

Sorry, but Steamboat wasn't a headliner on the level of a Savage, Hogan, Bret, etc.

Innovator 05-23-2011 04:02 PM

I'm thinking in terms of selling tickets to sell out arenas/theaters.

Xero 05-23-2011 04:04 PM

And Steamboat wasn't going to sell out an arena. MAYBE a theater, but that wouldn't be on him but the class in general and the fact that there are 60k+ wrestling fans available for it.

Dante69 05-23-2011 05:24 PM

Savage
Vader

Emperor Smeat 05-23-2011 06:51 PM

WWE probably had plans to have Rock for 2012 HoF class because its in Miami and Macho Man for 2013 but wouldn't be surprised if they co-headlined the 2012 class with both men.

It would seem like a risk to use up 2 big names but Rock wouldn't be overshadowed due to him being the living inductee while the Macho Man still gets his respect as a memorial inductee.

Edge can always wait a few more years so that he has the chance to headline or co-headline a class.

David Arquette probably gets picked as the celebrity inductee next year.

JAKE THE SNAKE ROBERTS

1. he is not dead.
2. he is "clean"

By "headliner", I meant "couldn't headline a WWE HOF and draw what they'd need him to draw". Which is the truth.

You forgot 5. He invented the DDT. :y:

Innovator 05-24-2011 01:06 PM

He stole the DDT from Konnan.

CSL 05-24-2011 01:10 PM

I'm surprised Konnan isn't on people's lists for the HOF. Guy invented the Lou Thesz Press ffs.

yah, thou art dreaming. Selling out arenas for Crockett is jack shit compared to headlining WrestleMania/being on top for Vince.

I was there and the smarks in the crowd chanting "Saba Simba" just about ruined the moment.

– WWE is going to be re-releasing Randy Savage toys and DVDs soon. It is believed backstage that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at WrestleMania in Miami.

proving your smarts with an un-cited source? Come now you know better around here!

Hulk-a-Bo 05-26-2011 06:46 PM

Ricky Steamboat is already in

BizarroKing 05-26-2011 08:22 PM

I'm thinking Rock and Savage headline this year. Edge and Trish headline the 2013 one in Toronto.
