Dream Card (within reason)
somebody once asked me to post up an example of a fight card card i would like to see. i believe the premise was that this person was arguing that wanting a stacked card where the fights have some implications, and where the fighters are people that (this more than just a casual fan) has heard of was somehow the mark of someone who isnt a true fan of the sport. so anyway, this would be the type of card i would like to see:
Prelims on Spike TV LW - Joe Stevenson vs. Clay Guida WW - Nate Diaz vs. Amir Sadollah Main Card HW - Roy Nelson vs. Cheik Congo WW - Rory MacDonald vs. Diego Sanchez MW - Brian Stann vs. Michael Bisping LHW - Phil Davis vs. Ryan Bader LW - Melvin Guillard vs. Denis Siver (II) LHW - Rampage vs. Thiago Silva co-main event: LW Champion Frank Edgar vs. Grey Maynard (III) main event: HW Champion Cain Velasquez vs. JDS |
thought this thread would be more popular. guess it's not easy coming up with a fight card.
