Kind of new to the forums but have done Yahoo fantasy football for a while. I'm in.

Edit: I've never done an auction draft, Can anyone kind of fill me in on how it works and if there is a huge difference between that and a normal draft?

It's pretty straight forward, you have a pot of money to buy your whole roster.

Someone nominates a player and then everyone can bid on that player. The person with the highest bid gets the player.

The money is limited so once you have spent your money you are only able to buy dregs.

It has the advantage of meaning that draft order is less of a factor, and that you have to manage your budget.

Yahoo Fantasy Sports has consistently crashed on me for the past several months because my internet connection has been atrocious and Comcast blows - had more pressing shit to take care of though so I've been unable to get it fixed. It's the reason why I haven't even touched my fantasy baseball teams since early June. It crashes so often I decided to just pack it in for the year. I fucking hate dead teams, but my internet has given me no choice.

Should have everything up and running again by the NFL season though so I'll def be able to stay active.</font>

How'd did I do? This is the first of my 3 drafts.

Ryan Grant is a gamble that early. It'll be interesting to see how well he comes back from missing a year. It may wind up, though, being an example of the infrequently seen "establish the pass" which opens up the running game for him.

I really only need him for two weeks as he is my third running back. Its a PPR league so I think Percy Harvin or Sims-Walker could do whats needed for my flex spot. I honestly think that Ryan Grant will get back to old form though and could possibly be trade bait to better my QB or TE if it is needed.
