was just pondering what do you all fans think of rocks return to wrestling at wrestlemania do u all think it is a good idea or is the rock too old to continue?

i was watching wrestlemania 18 hogan vs rock and started thinking how the roles are reversed now u will have the vetern out of ring icon the rock returning for one last time against a young even if u hate him cena is the rock of todays wrestling era will lightning strike twice and see the rock loose to cena or will he win thoughts anyone

It's a great idea for the Rock to come back, it's what we all wanted and what better place? There is no better opponent for him too, the most loved wrestler to the young fans facing one of the most loved wrestlers for us veteran fans.

I don't think the Rock is too old and he proved that by getting in fantastic shape yet again. As for him winning, I highly doubt it. I'd put money on Cena walking away with this one.

The Rock is boring. I for one don't care if he comes back. I'd prefer he didn't.

I am the biggest Rock mark on these forums, but lately, he's always been a shell of his former self, primetime 2000_style, ever since 2001. The last time Rock was truly great and entertaining was in 2003 as a heel.

He will always still be THE GOODS regardless, but I liked him the best in 2003 as a heel

As a face, he was money back in late 99, 2000. After that he became corny, but I still marked out for him, cuz he still had that presence that nobody else had

Good to have him back. But am i excited about the match? Not so.

I wasn't impressed with his return. His shouty, ham-acting promos and his "I'm back...but only a little bit". Then his 10 minute + promo to open Mania really killed it for me.

At this point I'm not interested in his return to the ring at all. Maybe that'll change as we get closer to the match.

Of course, my dislike of The Rock's return had me labelled as a "hipster". For some reason.

Half of me wants to ask if this thread is real. The other half knows that it unfortunately is.
