Hello, TPWW Universe. Just made an account here and looking forward to getting to know you folks. By way of introduction, can we post a list of our favorite matches? (This might have been done before.) Here are three that come to my mind immediately. I'll probably think of others, and will list them later.

WrestleMania 17: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Rock
This was probably the most emotionally involved I've ever been in a match.
The swerve was great, even if what followed left a lot to be desired for me.

Royal Rumble 2000: Triple H vs. Cactus Jack
To me, it had one of the best build-ups ever and was a five-star classic brawl. I think it really put Triple H on the map as a main event player, and showed Mick Foley could still go. Just a freaking amazing match that I have watched tons of times over the years. BANG BANG.

Clash of the Champions (1989): Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat
This was probably the last of the "old-school" matches and it had that kind of feel to it.

You vs heterosexuality.

Chris Benoit vs his kid vs Woman triple threat match

Leave the newbie alone, you two!

Ok fine everyone with half a brain knows the greatest rasslin match of all time was Jake the snake Roberts vs Tom Stone on WWF superstars in 1991

My favorites were both Michaels/Taker matches.

Just a word of advice, every post you make will be nitpicked by faggots. Just ignore them and discuss whatever the hell you want to.

Bret Hart vs Austin: Wrestlemania 13

Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Toshiaki Kawada 6/3/94 from All Japan

Samoa Joe vs Jack Evans vs Delirious vs Kikutaro in a four corner survival match springs instantly to mind. I don't know the date but there's likely only ever been one.

Dunno about 1 match but this one is right up there:

Angle/Benoit Rumble 2003

One match that doesn't get nearly enough love- Foley vs Flair in the I quit match.
My twin brother was a huge Foley mark at the time, and I wasa huge Flair mark. While the match could have been a game of chess, this epic battle of the titans was seen as a major match between the two.

Triple H vs Henry Godwin- proof that you can wallow in pig shit and come out smelling clean.

Every Taker/HBK match.

Tommy Dreamer vs The Sandman in a singapore cane match just for the drama afterwards.

The match that comes to mind when this question is bi-monthly posted is Diesel vs Shawn Michaels In Your House Good Friends Better Enemies.

It was the perfect brawl and highly intense and dramatic. Loved it, I'd even say it topped the Iron Man Match the month before. Shawn seemed to top every match that year though so, no surprise.

Triple H vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin at No Way Out 2001 in 3 Stages Of Hell was probably my favorite WWE/F match

Bret Hart vs British Bulldog Summerslam 1992.

That match was a really big deal. It's a shame such a classic is always going to carry such an odd stigma with WWE not acknowledging it in the near future (and likely never) and a bunch of weird jokes cracked about Benoit. I can remember back to the time period and a lot of people were pissed that Michaels somehow became involved in the main event. They thought it would cheapen a Benoit victory or make it less likely for him to win. The ending was amazing and the crowd was all over it. It was just Benoit's time.

To name something recent, Triple H vs The Undertaker from WM, what a fucking war. That was everything I could have wanted that match to be.

HBK vs. Austin at Wrestlemania 14. Never seen someone put themselves through so much as what HBK did that night.

Also Wrestlemania X-Seven with Rock/Austin was truly epic.

Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada vs. Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa on June 9, 1995 for AJPW was probably the greatest match of all time

I think the Chi-Town Rumble match between Flair and Steamboat was probably the best one they had and the best WCW match ever
