Is anybody else interested in The Big Show right now?

It may be too early to tell where any of it is going, but I'm digging this psycho giant business going on right now. Thoughts?

Juan 06-24-2011 06:32 PM

Not really. I have nothing against the guy, but I can count on one hand the times I've been interested in the Bog Show.

Same here..... He's not mobile enough in the ring anymore to keep me interested..... that and the novelty of his size has worn off.....

Shisen Kopf 06-24-2011 06:38 PM

Biggest jobber to the stars ever

Anybody Thrilla 06-24-2011 06:45 PM

Off the top of my head, I've enjoyed Big Show...

* As ECW champion
* In a team with Chris Jericho
* In a team with The Miz

...and that's probably about it. That doesn't mean I'm going to write him off, though. I think what he's doing now is at least fresh.

XL 06-24-2011 06:46 PM

I feel the same way about Show as I do about Kane right now, they've tried so much stuff with both these guys over the years, some bad, some good, and turned them so frequently that I've lost interest in both of them.

This and maybe his feud with Mayweather and maybe the first month or so he was in the WWF.

I will add his heel Smackdown run with Paul Heyman vs. Brock Lesnar to the list.

James Steele 06-24-2011 07:13 PM

I absolutely LOVE the friggin' Big Show.

This, but I did think he was great as ECW Champ, booked perfectly.

I do like him having that punch as a finisher tho.

St. Jimmy 06-24-2011 07:22 PM

No. Never.

Anybody Thrilla 06-24-2011 07:29 PM

I will say that this current angle seemed more interesting when Del Rio and not Mark Henry appeared to be the main foil, but even Henry's stepping his game up a bit as of late.

I know where all this is going because I've seen it before.

Testicle 06-24-2011 07:34 PM

I don't know if I like it yet. I like that he is being dominate (like a fucking giant should be booked as), but I don't dig the 'MMA' style to it, the stupid hoody/glove combo. IDK. And don't get me started on using a punch as a finisher, just shits on the everyone that throws a punch, including 'Show' pre-'08.

Ditch the stupid gear, have him beat the crap out of everyone, then I'll dig it.

Also Show was the only good thing about the 'New ECW'.

Ah the Bog Show, one of the most underrated wrestlers.

Testicle 06-24-2011 07:50 PM

Also Show was cooler when he had muscles, ya know?

Just ask him out and see what happens

XL 06-24-2011 07:57 PM

I will say this, this incarnation of the Big Show is streets ahead of "Happy-Go-Lucky, Fun Loving Big Show".

I figured you'd like his gimmick from when he wrestled in Croatia back in 1994.

CSL 06-24-2011 08:33 PM

August 27th 1993 actually, as The Bigger Bossman, defeating Miko Niko in Zagreb in 12:37 with a bearhug.

CSL 06-24-2011 08:35 PM

brb gonna make a Miko Niko/Croatian Wrestling Alliance tribute thread

The Naitch 06-24-2011 08:37 PM

Never been a fan of Big Show. Waste of TV time

James Steele 06-24-2011 08:38 PM

Touche, CSL, Touche. I bow to your far superior knowledge.

The Naitch 06-24-2011 08:38 PM

Make a marquee bearhug jpeg.

screech 06-24-2011 08:45 PM

I love The Big Show, so yes I am interested.

Triple Naitch 06-24-2011 08:47 PM

I've always liked Big Show, but it seems like they just throw him into random storylines with no depth to keep him on television.

The Naitch 06-24-2011 09:00 PM

XL 06-24-2011 09:04 PM
