benjamin's theme music

am i the only one who is extremely disappointed in shelton benjamin's new happy-go-lucky, hip-hoppy new theme music. i think it sucks. i felt from the begining that they needed to change his theme. and i hoped they would not change it to some hip hop bullsh*t. but, leave it to wwe to give young up and comer shelton benjamin a theme that says " i am a lemming, and i have no personality " :nono:

Yeah just cause he's black doesn't mean he needs rap.

I havn't heard it yet. I liked his music when he beat HHH for the 1st time :(

I dont mind the new tune.

It's not as intense as the old one, but even though it is stereotypical, it's not a terrible tune

Funky Fly 04-30-2004 04:47 PM

The old one was pretty generic, but had a cool intro.

Benjamin is the kinda guy who needs a decent rock tune. Something that promotes intensity, like Ken Shamrock's 2nd theme or Crash Holly's old theme.

It's should still be "All about the Benjamins" by Puff Daddy

Yeah, and it should be the remix.

Of course. The original on the album sucks.

"All About The Benjamins" is a good idea for a theme. Usually WWE's hip-hop based themes have been incredibly lame...(even John Cena's is in this category, but it makes sense considering John Cena's gimmick and its origins)....I've no problem with his theme music, you think Shelton might have had an input as to what he wants to hear when he goes out? Sorta like how Austin "inspired" Jim Johnson to take a few bars of a Rage Against The Machine song to come up with the glass-breaking theme we all know today? I remember the Austin theme before the glass-breaking song...it was kinda funny, almost like The World's Greatest Tag Team's song.
