So with potentially No NBA or NFL this year...

What are guys gonna watch?

Juan 07-04-2011 03:52 PM

Gonna try and checkout some Euroleague basketball if there is no NBA

TNA&USA#1 07-04-2011 03:57 PM

College football and basketball which are both more entertaining than the pro equivalents anyway.

Shisen Kopf 07-04-2011 04:21 PM

NBA sucks. I hope they cancel the season. I'll watch NHL and college football.

Team Sheep 07-04-2011 05:21 PM

Rugby and "soccer" as usual.

DaveBrawl 07-04-2011 07:01 PM

Replays from last season and hope the outcomes change.

Reavant 07-04-2011 07:21 PM

mma

Find it pretty ridiculous this has been allowed to happen, not entirely sure on the full story of it all but i can't get my head around how its got to this point, for both sports aswell not just one. Crazy.

Londoner 07-05-2011 04:33 AM

On the plus side, no NBA could mean more NHL for me on ESPN. (though they might just show more fucking baseball instead...)

AJ 07-05-2011 07:08 AM

I'll just have more free time I figure. College football is relegated to Saturdays for the most part...I guess I'll watch a little bit more college basketball if the NBA is still in lockout mode. I suppose I'll also pick up the NHL viewing a little bit more if I can remember to tune into the freaking Versus Network.

Emperor Smeat 07-06-2011 03:24 PM

More NHL instead of splitting the time between NBA and NHL games to go along with a lot more soccer and maybe college basketball than usual.

Aguakate 07-06-2011 03:28 PM

...I think eventually there WILL be some NFL...

...now, NBA...I don't know...things are not looking good at all.

MoFo 07-06-2011 04:37 PM

why did they do the draft if theres no NBA?

parkmania 07-06-2011 05:03 PM

Never watch the NBA anyway, so no big loss there... NFL hurts, but I'll maybe try and spend some extra time with my family.

Lockout only legally took effect a few weeks after the draft.

In the NFL's case, the draft occurred after the lockout but both sides agreed to let it continue and knew the lockout wouldn't reach the point of killing off the entire 2011 season.

Gertner 07-06-2011 05:46 PM

If the NHL weren't run by idiots, they could really take advantage of this.

Sean 07-07-2011 09:50 PM

NHL and EPL/La Liga...the same thing I do every year. Only now I don't have the Patriots once a week.

Couldn't care less about the NBA.

screech 07-07-2011 10:13 PM

Don't really watch either, but hopefully I'll be able to watch more/get back into hockey because of this.

SuperSlim 07-07-2011 10:37 PM

I'll be sticking to the college counterparts which are better and more competitive.

Stickman 07-09-2011 11:56 AM

The NFL is not going to miss a season.

I hope the NBA shuts down.

Kris P Lettus 07-11-2011 09:50 AM

I agree with Reavant..

parkmania 07-11-2011 06:55 PM

The NBA owners may have locked the players out, but give them a couple weeks and the players will figure out a way to break back in...

ClockShot 07-11-2011 07:04 PM

MLB channel. Offseason is a season in itself.

Bad Company 07-11-2011 09:26 PM

Uhhhhhh, the rugby world cup? There is nothing else worth watching. Ever.

SammyG 07-12-2011 12:01 AM

I'm seriously turning into a big NHL fan

Droford 07-12-2011 02:13 AM

NHL will benefit from the NBA lockout, which I dont see ending in time enough to have a full season.

NFL will play all games as scheduled, the only hurdle they have is Rookie contracts which is by far not that huge of an issue since the current players already got theirs I figure they will fold on the issue, fuck the future rookies that come in.

Except for the fact that not everyone has a chance to win in NCAA football.

Thank fuck for the Rugby World Cup if there's no NFL this autumn. You Americans better be covering this over there otherwise I'll go insane. Can't miss seeing Wales crash out to Fiji again :shifty:
