I can't believe "Really?" is the new "What?". Thankfully, it isn't as overdone and obnoxiously used as What?
I keep waiting for someone to cut a promo where they say "Really? Really got over? Really?"
so is this going to be one of those 'lol WWE' things based on hardly anything because they're doing something a bit different and yet a lot of you will go out and get it anyway and the thread will go 12 pages?
Fuck you guys. I'm getting this.

I'm all for something different, look at all-stars. This is like they took WCW Backstage Assault, mixed it with a little Powerstone and called it a day. |
Triple H looks badass though.

I hope the game has a special commentary team:

Complete game on 'Hard' difficulty: Unlock WCW Village People
It looks alright to me.
The trailer reminded me of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks and a tiny bit of The Bouncer. I'll be buying it anyway and hopefully we hear more about it soon. :y: Though I don't think it's all "fantasy" and so on because if you pause the video at 1:11, you can see that Cena and whoever the other guy is, are on a set, with stage lights, curtains that are acting a some kind of backdrop, a camera crane and what looks like someone standing on a scaffolding to the left. The story might be something along the lines of making movies or whatever. I'm just guessing. But like I said, I'll be buying the game anyway. |
:wtf:
So I guess that means no WWE All-Stars 2 even though All-Stars was a great idea and much better than the other WWE spin-off games. All it needed was a couple of changes to be a much better game. |
Cool King, you are much too kind.
Nice of them to give Cena JTG's vest.
Anyone remember playing this abomination? this brings back memories. sigh. I am sure this one will be similar (as far as horror goes).

Yeah this was way better than having WWE Online RPG for the PC :shifty:
Just found out that this was shown at a WWE conference in April and it just flew under the radar because THQ isn't even showing it off to VG outlets properly yet.
Not sure if that's lack of confidence in the game and are just making it on the cheap to see if the WWE logo will sell it, or if they just didn't want to take focus away from WWE 12. |
They need to get with the Def Jam: Fight for NY people.
They were the same guys that did No Mercy and although I think the company still exists, a lot of key people actually joined the Smackdown devs and helped create the Gamecube games. Not sure if they're still there.
Dear god

Also, just noticed: Cena's wrist bands look like Sound Villiage headbands. And Edge uses what looks to be the "Uzumaki Barrage"... looks like they're trying to add yet another demographic with this game. |

The Miz as Jax?
This game looks hilarious, I'll totally play it! |
Might as well do a WWE Universe vs DC Comics or something.
With PG fatalities.
It could be awesome. First thing I thought of was Fight For New York after seeing it, so that's a good sign at the very least.
I will keep waiting for Lego WWE Universe: the Game
Seriously. The fuck?
wwe backstage brawl
First a racing game with WWE guys and now some sort of WWE take on a Def Jam style game?
