Battle Royale

Just saw this... I dunno.

Plot Outline: 42 high school students are forced to kill each other on an uninhabited island.

It is crazy. It's a Japanese movie and it is violent as hell. Basically, these kids are taken to an island and forced to kill each other. The last one standing gets to go home alive. Really ****ed up premise, which caught my attention right away. The movie was good as well and it lived up to the hot premise, I guess, even though it was unrealistic. It's subtitled and they try to throw in some drama, which gets kinda cheesy, though. It's like, I am watching this movie to see some violence, not a shitty love story, assholes.

Anyway, it's apparently one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films and Go Go from Kill Bill (schoolgirl chick) is one of the main characters. He casted her from seeing her in this movie.

It's on Kazaa if you are in the mood.

everyone should've seen this by now goddamnit.

It's pretty good, some of the dialogue is comedy. Maybe it works better in japanese.

The second one is hard to rate.... It's not like the first one.... It's more of a story sequel than anything else, so don't expect the EXACT same premise.... Death comes hella quick in the second.

It wasn't like the social satire that I thought it would be. But it's still a pretty entertaining movie.

I hear the book is better.

Possibly, but it's also possible that I heard it from 5 other people, including my brother, who say the same thing. ;)
