Does anyone remember when The Rock sucked, the first time. Why not throw something against the wall, and see if it works. It has worked in the past, but it hasn't worked also. Anyway, there are worse things on smackdown. Like the Cat and Sable. wtf

Yeah but Bob Holly is probably about 40 something and The Rock was in his EARLY 20's. Plus they invested a lot of money and time in him, they had to make him work. Holly sucks all around.

And he is a a poor excuse for a human being. I don't usually care much about the personal lives of wrestlers, but when I see a guy that just makes me angry (and no, not heel angry, "I ****ing hate this guy and am going to change the channel" angry) just by looking at him thats where a problem arises.

Holly is just a bitter balding old man who is upset that he has seen a whole generation of wrestlers come in, make it to the top and retire before he could ever get a crowd reaction.

i like holly for some odd reason, but what happened to chris benoit, what did he do wrong to get pushed aside. I mean so far of what i can see is that the Cena Benoit Lesner angle lasted what 2 maybe 3 weeks, did it really even go to a PPV.

and isnt the "brock lock" on Smackdown: HCTP, as the stretch muffler or somethin like that.

Hardcore Holly does get a crowd reaction and the sells prove it.

From what I understand when Hardcore made his big come back on to Smackdown... the beer, snow cone, cotton candy, pop corn, and funnel cake sells nearly doubled the sells from the rest of the day.

Damn straight! One week, it looks like they're lining him up for another great Title feud, and the next he's feuding with the FBI. What the hell???

Anyways, Holly sucks, and his push is the only thing more incomprehensible than Mark Henry's.

The idea behind the fued is cool (with Holly seeking revenge for a broken neck caused by Lesnar), and the Austin-esque stuff in theory has made Holly a bigger babyface. So, form a booking standpoint the fued is actually reall good. Unfortunatelt the fued involves Bob Holly, who sucks and should be fired were it not for the pictures he has of Vince with Pat Patterson and a family of gerbils. I cant see match between Brock and Bob doing any business, and I cant see it being any good, so I'm hoping they blow it off on TV, but its looking less and less like thats going to happen. On the other hand at least this way its pretty clear Brock will hold the title till Mania, which is a good thing.

Every single time Bob holly is on tv i change the channel. I"m not even making this up. I will never watch him.

I've been saying this for years. Bob Holly is crap, and I have no idea why he's in a main fued. The WWE should have simply fired him a long time ago.

Here's the only way I see this thing going: Holly will fight Lesnar at Rumble and lose, but meanwhile, since they've laid the stones for an extended Chris Benoit chase angle, Benoit will probably end up winning the Rumble match itself, only to get screwed somehow and have to win a match at No Way Out to get his shot against Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Traditionally, fans have always loved the chase, and IMO, Holly is just a filler feud. Benoit's feud is still on, guys, at least IMO, so don't fret.

Besides, if you had to pick someone for a meaningless filler feud, wouldn't Holly be better than someone good, like, say, Cena?

I think if they go with Benoit-Lesnar at Mania (which is a good idea), I think they should have Angle challenge Benoit to a match at NWO for the title shot. Benoit could finally beat Angle, which would help solidify him as a main eventer.

If I see Benoit or Brock at WM, It will suck. These 2 boring fools make me sleep.

I think it would be cool Benoit vs. Lesnar but it is not something i want to see at WMXX, maybe if Benoit wins the title, Benoit vs. RVD or something a Smackdown vs Raw kinda match, on WMXX that would rock. IMO that is :roll:

In case you didn't see it, they are still doing the angle with Benoit (Paul Heyman saying that Benoit "will never get another title shot as long as he's the GM of SmackDown"). His match last night with Palumbo was surprisingly good (and we see the FBI FINALLY getting SmackDown in-ring time. God, they need to find something for them to do, although the match betting thing is interesting). Benoit can carry ANYONE, whether the other sucks or not. He just needs to not be so stiff on personallity.

As with Holly, he may suck still and his personallity seems to be improving.......VERY, VERY SLOOOOOOWLY!! However, all that aside, the feud with Lesner seems to really be over with the crowd right now, as they realy seem to want the two to beat the living shit out of each other (did you see the huge crowd reaction when Holly won that tag match "for his career"?), and, for SOME reason, I'M somewhat getting into the feud, even after knowing the stuff that has happened as a result of Holly. That's probably a sign that they are doing SOMETHING right with this feud. Maybe the feud with Lesner is what Holly needs to get some good reactions out of the crowd, something that he hasn't got in such a long time. Let's hope that they make the match vs. Lesner a street fight or something, and let them tear each other apart.

No big. You should've seen the Benoit vs. Palumbo match. It proved that:

1) Benoit is such a great worker and can carry anyone, talented opponent or not.

2) That Palumbo, dispite some people's dislikes of the FBI (WHY?!), can still work a good match, and that the FBI is still a great heel stable that is capable of getting MAJORLY over if they use them right.

EXACTLY! That's why you people need to stop your bitching. Personally I think the WWE should market Hardcore's talents here. Imagine if the WWE actually made it COOL to get up and take a shit while Hardcore is wrestling? Or to go get your beer and popcorn while he's wrestling?

But in all seriousness the one time I was entertained by Hardcore Holly was back when Crash first came in... and they got into hardcore battles all the time. That actually did get a few giggles out of me.
