What's the best new band to come out in the last 5 months?

I have been gone a while though and haven't been privy to what may be obvious to you. Anything new come out on the national level? Or hell, even just local is cool as long as it's got a beat and doesn't fucking wait forever to get started.

Death Valley Driver if you are into metal at all. They are from smalltown Canada and opened for Metallica here by winning a battle of the bands contest.

They did a great cover of Sepultura's "Roots Bloody Roots"
