In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended referee Mike Chioda for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

Apparently, although not confirmed by WWE yet, that Andy from Tough Enough has been suspended.

So since the "senior referee" is out, who's going to ref the main events? Little Guido, black ref who works diva matches, Chuck Robinson?

Probably Jack Doan. He's the only other ref that has been there as long as Chioda.

Chad Patton's been there a while too, but my guess would be either Doan or Robinson.

The black ref is Justin King and he was only hired to fill a quota.

Me too I'm sure Aftermath isn't getting him as big a paycheque but I could be wrong but it's certainly a much lighter schedule though.

Damn this is pretty bad timing. I hope this doesn't effect Chioda's push when he gets back.

I would love to see him back, he was always one of my favourite refs, Earl Hebner I was not too keen on since the Montreal Screwjob but was ok before that.

This should wake everybody up to the fact that WWE unfairly hires only beefy, bodybuilder type referees, and obviously you have to juice to keep your spot as an in-ring official in Vince McMahon's twisted world of beefed-up referees.

Yeah, I always loved Jimmy Korderas. He seemed like a really nice guy. Scott Armstrong is treated as a senior official, and Jack Doan has been there for like...forever. I see the referee hierarchy as being something like this:

Scott Armstrong

Veteran Officials:

Jack Doan
Charles Robinson
Chad Patton

I think Maritato will climb the referee ranks very quickly, though (like Scott Armstrong). He'll be in with Patton, Doan & Robinson soon. Zapata, Cone and King just need more tenure. Brett DiBiase is also working as a referee in FCW because of on-going knee problems. I expect that one day we'll see Brett DiBiase calling matches in the WWE when he gets a bit more experience.
