I mean, srsly, the guy hasn't changed his clothes in like 2 months of RAWs. Time to get the patriotic Angle tights out of the mothballs.

I can see why the guy would have his fans, he's not devoid of talent or charisma, it just seems like he's been phoning it in - I guess because he's been in the midcards, away from the hunt for any titles :-\

Maybe he got a dozen made in that design when he was the champ and would feel foolish if he didn't give them all a good few months of wear. His current singlet isn't even bad, probably the best one he's worn. At least he's not gone back to trunks.


I like Swagger too, it's a shame they made him a Jericho clone when he won the World title but he's still had flashes of brilliance depsite being booked like a jobber ever since. Swagger Soaring Eagle :'(

Swagger is good midcard and can do it well, besides talk but that makes him all the more endearing, when they give him a real match.

I actually like him on the mic. When he was the champ, his 20 minute promo's on Smackdown! got so much heat, and were very entertaining on TV.

He's a guy that's gonna gain a lot of experience probably get another push, another shot eventually down the line. He's in no rush though, he's not going anywhere. I do think a change of tights would be good for his career, that look isn't the best and WWE rarely pushed anyone in anything more than a speedo.

On the Hogan & Cena wearing the same clothes thing - they're both based around massive amounts of merchandising. Cena wears the same shirts for a year, because they're trying to sell them to everyone watching, with pretty much the same story on Hogan. They don't have anything in Swagger's merchandising based around his black & gold, though the idea of them creating a shirt like one of those Tuxedo novelty things printed like his singlet is pretty lulzy :lol:

Seems to me that if he's goning to get a makeover, it will be with Vickie at his side, much like what happened with Dolph, to make said difference both "noticable" and "because of her".

Swagger isn't bad; he's just booked that way. The dude could be a legit force if they gave him a better chance, and if he took it to the limit, like that one Tough Enough loser who became the most watched WWE superstar.

I preferred it when he did change up his attire. The black and gold reminds me of when MVP just started wearing red all the time. I think his new pairing with Vickie Guerrero will benefit him. He can bust out something a bit more colourful.

Now, he did change it up, and people are like "Yo, that shit is whack! Go back to looking like Kurt Angle!"

I don't see what the big deal is. People change and wear the same tights for months at a time, only to change it at special PPV events or every 4-6 months
