Kanye West or Pharrell
 
Yeah well I've been having this argument with my friend for some time. I think Kanye West is a better producer than Pharrell because lately his beats have been stale or sound the some ie Change Clothes(Frontin, Excuse Me Miss), Allure(A Ballad For The Fallen Soldier). So what are your thoughts? Kanye or Pharrell?

The Neptunes (why does everyone forget Chad Hugo? :( ) are probably better, but as of late they have been in a repetitive slump. Couple in over exposure, and that makes Kanye West the better producer at the moment.

However, Just Blaze owns them both several times over.

Chad and Pharrell are co-producers, only track Pharrells done on his own to my knowledge is Head Bussa by NORE, and that was shit. But the neptunes now thats some good shit most of the time, they have been lazy recantly by stealing and chopping beats but when they are on form its a banger.

Also Just Blaze shits on Kayne West

Im constantly reminded why the Neptunes are the greatest production duo ever, and that is the N*E*R*D album "In Search Of V1", with proper neptunes electronic sounds instead of the live version. Run To The Sun, Provider & Bobby James :'( Lapdance, Things Are Getting Better, Stay Together, Brain, Baby Doll & Tape You :D Am I High & Truth Or Dare :cool: Only album i've ever heard without a single bad track, except Illmatic which is why Nas is also the man

Although Kanye and the Neptunes are pretty good producers, I'd have to say Premier is the best.

I don't know who Kanye is, but damn, Pharrell is one of the biggest curses in music business! Perhaps he's a good producer, but please God, don't let him make anymore of his "music"! :cry:

I think in this paticular case (and probably all other cases due to Supreme also being The Man) that statement would apply to you and not Supreme
