Attention Nerds: Comic/Graphic Novel Thread
What are you all reading right now? Got in it not too long ago but I'm making up for lost time. Only reading novels right now. Have read:
Fables Volumes 1-10 Lucifer Vol 1 Brightest Day v1-2 Blackest Night: Rise of the Black Lanterns Brightest Day: Green Arrow Would like some ideas of where to go after this. New and all. Love you. |
we have a marvel and dc thread
I see Marvel/DC movies threads. Link if there's another.
I really think the DC/Marvel threads should be renamed to take out the "movie" part, since we discuss everything within. So just "DC Comics News/Discussion" and so forth.
But anyways... Check out.... Bone Starman Y: The Last Man Should keep you busy for awhile. |
My current reading list consists of:
Gantz (Manga) Air Gear (Manga) High School of the Dead (Manga) Deadpool: MAX Star Wars: The Old Republic |
Was definitely gonna get started on Y at some point. Gonna finish Fables and then I'll probably get onto Y. I'm not sure if I'm going to bother with any of the Fables spin-offs yet. Teetering.
I enjoyed the two Cinderella spin-offs. Jack of Fables is alright, but really really different. Nowhere near as good.
I purchased Bone. I probably should've gotten it volume by volume but I got the big book. Fairly certain its the whole series. Twenty bucks for 1300 pages. Not bad.
Yeah, they have the One Volume Edition, which is pure awesomeness. That is a pretty good price too. Think I paid like 30-something bucks for mine. Course I got it back when it was first released. Probably cheaper now, especially with the colour edition coming out soon. I prefer black and white though. I have read some of the colour editions and I dunno... seems like you lose some of the "effect" and "feel" of the book.
I I've been reading the IDW Transformers comics. Wasn't expecting much of anything from it, but I'm shocked at how good it is.
100 pages into Bone. Good reccomendation. Pretty into it so far.
