The OFFICIAL Best & Worst #7: (WWE) World Heavyweight Champion
For this I would like you to take into account all of the guys that held the Big Gold Belt since it was brought to WWE.
That includes Kurt Angle's, The Rock's and Jericho's runs as "WCW Champion". http://i953.photobucket.com/albums/a...oldersxtra.png -----------http://i953.photobucket.com/albums/ae11/p455vv0rd/3.jpg |

|
No way Khali isn't voted worst after this
|
Best: Edge
Worst: Khali |
Best: CM Punk
Worst: Khali |
Best is Edge. He's the guy I associate the most with this version of this belt.
Worst is the Khali. |
Best: Edge. The guy owned this belt
Worst: Khali. Just. HBK did nothing great with the belt either, but since he's HBK he gets a pass. |
Best is the Rock
Worst Swagger |
Best is Trips, worst is Ziggler.
|
Best: Edge, I was also tempted with both Taker and Triple H
Worst: Khali, although Zigglers "reign" wasn't exactly memorable. |
I'm just curious why Benoit isn't on this list. That's who Randy beat for the belt.
|
Best is Taker
Worst is Khali |
Oh yeah, there's no KING BOOKAAHHHH either
|
and Goldberg
|
Best is Triple H. I mean Bischoff "awarded" him with the belt after the undisputed champion experiment (I wanted to say debacle) came to an end. Say what you want about his first reign and poor opponents, etc. but awarding the title to Trips was a statement of intent and made the belt instantly credible again (remember, it had been held by Arquette in the past)
Worst...I'm going to say Swagger. Khali was okay, but at least was built as a monster in the lead to winning the belt. I don't care what you say, when someone is over 7foot, even if they've been booked as a punjabi playboy, it doesn't take long to get them back over as a monster. Swagger's reign was pretty forgettable! |

Best: Triple H
Worst: The Great Khali I didn't even have to think twice about either choice..... |
Best - Edge
Worst - The Great Khali |

Took that picture from a bigger one featuring all the guys to gold the BGB in all it's usages. They only put one guy on each time and as Benoit, Booker and Goldberg all held the belt as WCW Champ, they don't feature on the pic further down. They are available for selection though. |
Best: Triple H.
Worst: Rey Mysterio. Sure Khail isn't the greatest wrestler, but at least his reign didn't involve exploiting the death of a respected wrestler |
Best: Edge
Worst: I'll go against the majority here. While Khali was bad, Ziggler's lasted less than a half hour...stripping Edge of the belt just to get it back about 15 minutes after Ziggler was crowned champ was pointless so I'm voting Ziggler. |
Best Edge
Worst Swagger |
Best: Triple H
Worst: Great Khali |

worst = ziggler only because, from what I remember, khali drew more of a reaction as champ than Ziggler ever did. Speaking of "ben-who" I have a benoit ish question, though it was probably answered in a thread long ago... If the E considers him "persona non grata," why not take his name off the record books for the titles he won and replace it with another name that would mostly reference him (much less remove ALL mention or reference of him from their website, unless it was oversight on the E's part)? |
Best: Kurt Angle
Worst: Khali |
Best: Triple H
Worst: Ziggler |
Did goldberg have that belt in wwe
|
best bret hart
worst swagger |
Best: Batista
Worst: Shawn Michaels (I know I'll get alot of heat for this, but he held it for a month and defended it once against HHH at Armageddon) I'd put Ziggler but I don't recognize him as a World Champion. HHH was a great World Champion no doubt, but I just thought Batista was on fire in 2005. I know not alot of people like him, but he was very over and the matches he had as World Champion were mostly good. |
Best: Taker
Worst: Khali |
Best: Triple H
Worst: Khali |

Papa Schlongo using a picture of Edge wearing the WWE title in an attempt to prove that he was the best WHC. Pure class.

Best: Triple H
Worst: Christian |
Best: The Rock
Worst: Hardy |

Best - CM Punk
Toss up between CM Punk and Edge and while Edge was a big player for the belt with multiple reigns, the way Punk dethroned Hardy and had the crowd hating him for "stealing" Hardy's moment basically set the foundation for one of the best heel turns in years. It also set the foundation for the slow rise of Punk to become a huge star that he is today. Worst - Rey Mysterio. Besides his reign feeling more as a "gift" from Eddie dying even though Benoit and others were closer friends to Eddie, the biggest problem was how Rey was made to look too weak in every encounter and the WWE reusing the David-vs-Goliath setup for every Rey match. It was a toss up between him, Swagger, and Khali but at least with Swagger it was an attempt to push a young wrestler even if it didn't work out and Khali was able to stay as a monster heel champion for his reign. |
I don't even remember or realized that Khali was a world champ so I vote him the worst.
Best would probably be Edge. He had some great matches with Taker/Batista. It was a good time for the WHC. |
