Fitch said he was ready and willing to fight B.J. at UFC 137, but Dana felt different.

I think it will probably be Diaz. Dana's acting like he's thinking about cutting him, but he knows there's still money to make off Diaz.

Other than him, I don't really see any fights at 170 for B.J.

Penn v. Guillard could be exciting if they do it at some kind of catchweight or B.J. drops back down to 155 but that may be a stretch.

All about the benjamins at the end of the day. Josh Gross reported that the PPV buyrate predictions dropped by 300K after Diaz was taken off the card.

I get that B.J. Penn isn't GSP or the Welterweight title, but if Nick wins it's still a nice feather in his cap and would make it hard to deny him another shot since Penn vs. Condit was gonna be a title eliminator anyways.

If Nick was going to be kept on the show, in the co-main event no less, why not just fine the hell out of him and leave him in the main event. Now we have to hear the idiots that come out and say Dana is protecting GSP/trying to keep the Anderson Silva dream match alive and not let Nick knock GSP off.

I am excited for match up though and think it should be a good fight.

Disappointed because that's not all that unexpected. It'll be a good fight, but it seemed like a logical conclusion after he didn't cut Diaz.

Now lets hope Penn knocks Diaz off so we do not have to put up with anymore Diaz' bullshit.
