Batman. I'm not saying the Superman theme is bad, either. It gets the point across, but while it's Superman, Batman's is EPIC.

I like both, but Batman gets my vote. Plus Danny Elfman is awesome.

Batman
Even with almost a different theme for each set of films, they still manage to keep the epicness of the film (maybe not as great for the nipple suit era Batman). |

For me the Superman theme could still be used to this day it still almost gives that chill down my spine whereas I feel that particular Batman theme seems more dated it does have the better intro though i'll give it that much.

The Batman theme sounds better. The Superman theme sounds like it just saying "He's awesome" which is really "so what?" to listen to. It's pretty bland sounding. Nothing really happens in it.
The Batman theme sounds pretty "exciting" to listen to. It has the slow intro and then sounds pretty action packed. |
By themselves the Batman theme obviously sounds cooler but the Superman theme at the end of the movies with the Sun rising and whatever, really enhances it.

I actually think the theme from the Superman Animated Series was better than the movie. Like the Batman theme, it's got a little more energy to it, so it's more exciting to listen to than the John Williams march:

I remember waiting in line as kid at Six Flags Great America for the Batman ride, and that Batman theme would play and it just get you so fucking pumped for the ride. But Superman theme is pretty awesome too. But think I'd have to go with the Batman one.
