Just watched the first episode last night and I thought this whole Cas is God thing would keep going but it doesn't, even though the Leviathans controlling him are still powerful, so I don't know what to expect now except more Purgatory related stuff. I like not knowing what to expect though.

I liked the episode, especially the exchange in the house with the Sand Glass between two people.

I do miss the boys in MOTW episodes.

Great last episode. Bobby and Cass better be back. :mad:

I noticed that it's been 2 episodes in a row that they left on a cliff hanger. You guys think this will keep happening? Usually they only have cliff hangers once in a while.

Rebuilding Bobbys house, episodes 3-21

Not that I think he's dead here, cause ya know no body = no death but I am consistently shocked that Bobby Singer makes it out of things alive. I've been expecting him to die since they first introduced him.

He was kept due to fan support.

Yeah Bobby fucking rules. He should get his own show when this is all over.

I don't know about that but since he seems to have a lot of history and experience as a hunter they could do webisodes about his past or what he does when he's not working with the brothers.

I figured as much but still doesn't keep me from expecting him to die at any time. It's actually kinda great because it keeps me on my toes a bit.

Just watched the latest one. Good to have seen Jo one last time. Dean surely can't keep his secret about killing Amy from Sam forever. Shit's gonna hit the fan when Sam finds out.

I thought so too but if you think about it, Dean didn't want Amy to appear at the trial so she was technically left out of it. Only Jo and Sam were at the trial and since Sam is not dead, that leaves Jo.

Excellent episode tonight, some more Whedonverse alumni in Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) and James Marsters (Spike), fun stuff.

I still miss Cass tho. :(

They should at least bring Misha Collins back as that "Jimmy" guy, his vessel before Cass took over it. And have him help the brothers from time to time.

Didn't care for this recent episode that much to be honest.

The witches on this show seem really powerful. Donald took care of that Leviathan with little effort although it was just a spell to render it unconscious or something and he didn't kill it which leads me to believe he doesn't know how or can't kill it, otherwise why would he leave it alive.

They were also established as having been around for a very long time.

dunno, huge castiel fanboy here. i agree that the character got messed around but he was simply glorious in seasons 4 and 5. if they can bring him back now that he would no longer be on the whole god crusade, i would welcome his return.

Don't get me wrong, Misha Collins did a great job on the show. Some of the funniest parts of season 5 were completely down to Cas's deadpan responses.

He was an important and well loved character, which makes his demise all the more poignant. Better than Joss Whedon's magic everything back to life again rule on Buffy. Even Joss knew when to drop the hammer though, I'm still pissed off about Fred dying on Angel.

Sorry, getting off topic.

Like I said before, bring back Collins as his former meat suit before Cas took over.

that's less likely than just bringing cass back though, since if it was just the meat suit, there'd be a whole lot of fucking around trying to explain how his only-mortal self managed to re-piece itself back together after exploding in a dam.

Another amazing episode tonight, hilarious pulp fiction reference (though it was spoiled a bit when they hammered it home later in dialogue)

Loved the end scene with Crowley.

This season is fucking hot let me tell ya

Last ep was hilarious. Dean singing All Out of Love and looking gay doing it made me ROFL.

facial expression is priceless. jensen and jared have both more than earned my respect as quality actors over the course of this show.

Yes, they are not to drive it as it gets people's attention.

I like the episode overall, but with each passing Friday, I want Castiel back more and more.

Or when Cas called Dean one episode and Dean told him he needed some sleep see you tomorrow. Cas said "OK, I'll just wait here then" and just stood there next to a road in the middle of nowhere. :lol:

Emily Perkins looks hot for 34, she's lost that underage look she had for most of her 20s.

Stupid waste of time episode last night. No plot progress hardly at all. I mean the only meaningful thing was Crowley saying the Demons wouldn't bother them which COULD have been done far earlier.

Also, hate Becky.

Well, they always have one-off episodes between the main myth-arc ones, have done since season 1, like pretty much every show of this nature, so what are you expecting?

Yeah they have these qausi-filler episodes to please the girl fans or cater to the humor side of Supernatural and at the very end of the episode is the only part actually progressing the story.
