Anybody want a copy of Halo: Reach?
 

Like someone posted in the videogame news thread a few days ago Microsoft sent out emails to people that were in the last 360 dashboard beta program that the new title update for Reach disabled all of the preview discs. These emails contained a code for a free digital download of the game. Anyway I got one of these emails and I was wondering if any of you wanted it.

I beat the game's campaign mode, and even gave the disc off to a friend after the preview ended, since I have no desire to play online and don't even have a Gold account. Besides that with my current ISP and it's bandwidth allowance it would take me 3 or 4 weeks to download this game since it is 6.6 gigs.

I should throw this disclaimer out as well I did offer this to the guy I gave the disc too, and he turned it down I think since he wasn't going to be playing online or going to be using his xbox online to get an update or something. His message was worded kind of weird so I asked him again earlier, but have yet to receive another answer so if he does want this he will be the one I give it too.

So yeah everyone who wants it sign up here and I'll pick somebody and PM them the code. I would prefer it be someone that doesn't currently have a copy of the game, but whatever.

Small chip on top of the disc, but it plays perfectly. Operationsports.com even has roster updates through the middle of August.

I assume this is not for PC?

No, I should have mentioned both were for 360.

I got the game from the disc update beta a while back.

Only thing I didn't like was the lack of a manual but at least the disc came in a case and not some cardboard sleeve like Wii Sports or most disc-based demo/preview discs.

I hope EA notices that you can't even give away their last basketball game.

I'd love a code, trying to get one for a friend to finally do some co-op.

I'll put my name in the hat. I never got to Halo 3 or ODST either, and I heard really good things about Reach.

Reach has been a regular game in my play session since it came out. Love Reach. Got some DLC coming up, too.

Just an update, I haven't forgotten about this or any of you. I'm just waiting on a yes or no from my friend. Basically he has no desire to play this online but he was wondering what all the patch did. I gave him a list, but have yet to receive a response from him.

Good news everyone he doesn't want the code afterall so give me some suggestions on how to do this fairly so that everyone is happy with the result.

I was thinking over the top rope battle royal, but the plane ticket prices from the UK and Canada to Virginia may not be worth the price of a free game.
