Vince Russo is no longer the head of the TNA creative team. Russo will remain on the creative team as a senior writer, and will write shows along with Matt Conway.

Bruce Prichard, who is also the head of talent relations, will now head the creative team, mapping out the direction of the company.
Now if only they would get rid of him all together.....

MoFo 10-06-2011 02:56 PM

What a terrible decision.

TNA is fucking hilarious under Russo.

I guess we'll see boring ass Sumo Joe in the main event now.

DLVH84 10-06-2011 03:18 PM

Thank God...now if he's shown the door, before it's too late.

St. Jimmy 10-06-2011 03:24 PM

Good for TNA. Too bad it's far too late and way too many millions of dollars short.

Rollermacka 10-06-2011 03:49 PM

You know the question is, how dramatically will it even affect TNA? Are we gonna see some massive change or is it just kinda still gonna be business as usual?

Emperor Smeat 10-06-2011 04:02 PM

Probably won't change much but at least now Russo in theory would have to get his ideas approved by someone else than in the past where he could just approve them on his own.

How many writers does TNA have because it sounds like they literally only have 2 writers for the entire company and I know they used to have more before firing a few when Hogan was about to arrive.

Blakeamus 10-06-2011 04:07 PM

I hope it works out this way.

I don't think they'd have made the change if Pritchard didn't plan to make changes. Otherwise what would've been the point?

Xero 10-06-2011 05:53 PM

So when does Sibling Lust debut in TNA?

loopydate 10-06-2011 08:27 PM

Hermano Amor - the newest member of Mexican America.

Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee aaaaaaaaaaaaaamoooooooooooo!

Mr. Nerfect 10-07-2011 02:46 AM

How good will Bruce Pritchard be as booker? Will we love him?

Rammsteinmad 10-07-2011 06:55 AM

I just hope whoever's 'above' Russo won't just blindly go along with all of his ideas.

I'm not gonna hate on Russo or anything... come on, writing a weekly show for over ten years... It's not as easy as people think (unless your Noid)... however,it has definitely been proven in the past that Russo works better when he has a filter.

I hope that's not the case. It's just a shame they seem to be serious after they've blown some MAJOR shots.

The Jayman 10-07-2011 09:27 AM

TNARick is not gonna like this

RiX1024 10-07-2011 11:34 AM

this is going to be interesting.

XL 10-07-2011 02:08 PM

There may be a god but he giveth with one hand (Russo "demoted") and taketh away with another (Hogan contract extension).

Mr. Nerfect 10-08-2011 07:34 PM

I'm still hopeful that Hogan's TNA contract is only through Bound For Glory and the next set of Impact tapings. Or that he at least takes some time off as a character to sell his defeat at Bound For Glory.

Rammsteinmad 10-08-2011 07:54 PM

Hogan? Defeat?
