Was thinking how epic his promos/segments would have been from Mexico.

Talk about the greatness of JBL in this thread and what he would have done in Mexico when RAW and SmackDown! were taped there.

I liked JBL back in the day and loved his promos. Especially the ones about the illegals. He's right you know.

JBL/Bradshaw is my favourite sports entertainer of all time and it's not even close.

Yes, loved his world title run. One of my favorite periods of wrestling. Too bad he was already old when he relaunched his career as JBL...

Only miss him when it comes to his commentary never cared for him as JBL tbh a guy like ADR does it so much better.

JBL was awesome! Particularly loved the first part of the character when he won the Kurt Angle Great American Award by kicking illegal immigrants back to Mexico.

I bet if he were to team up with Del Rio in Mexico the heat would be enough to melt the arena. Without question, JBL would be a boo factory beyond imagination; but to team him up with Del Rio, it'd get Del Rio way over as a heel. It would be huge. I'm surprised he isn't down there, actually.

My Christ, you're starting to sound about as whiny as the guy that threatened to take JBL to court just cause he beat him up a little bit in a wrestling ring.

I found JBL an entertaining personality. I would not care to see another JBL match, though. As an on-screen character, I would love it if he returned to the WWE. Apparently he is open to the part of RAW General Manager (and he's mentioned commentary in a positive light in the past). A third role I would suggest, is just a plain ol' fashioned manager. Man, I would absolutely love to see JBL come in with Mr. Antonio Cesaro and claim to be new investors in the WWE, or something. JBL, ADR and MAC could run RAW as rich bad-asses who don't give a shit.

Alternatively, a Michael Cole/Josh Mathews/JBL commentary team on RAW (have Laurinaitis kayfabe "fire" Jerry Lawler) would be tremendous. Since Cole and JBL are kayfabe "buddies" now, they could give the sane babyface stuck in the middle so much shit, and you know it would be entertaining.

Personally when it comes to wrestlers, I judge them by their work in the ring/in character. Basically limiting to what they do on television. What they do off it, I dont really care. JBL entertained me as an on air personally, even if I am pretty sure he is an a-hole backstage.

I'd rather have Bryan Danielson on my roster.

I don't think he's an "a-hole" backstage. The stories he's written show that he's actually a pretty nice guy.

The last couple days, for some reason, I've been watching some of JBL's stuff on YouTube, and the guy was very good. At the time, I didn't like him, because he came across as arrogant and stuff (which means he was doing his job), but now looking back, I definitely think he is definitely in the Top 5 heels of the 2000's.

JBL's facial expressions were amazing and hilarious.

I'd personally rather have Jody Gage than Wayne Gretzky. Gage was awesome in the minor leagues.
