before the troll chimes in I own all 3 current gen consoles so its no diff to me who gets what, but i will say i buy multi platform on the PS3.

I buy multi-player on 360, purely because of the controller.

I've had some 360 like 3rd party pads on PS3, but the deadzone on them is terrible :(

I hate the controller, but last gen all my friends had PS2s and I coped. This time, all my friends have 360s, so I get the benfit of the controller, but really, I only care about playing multiplayer with my friends, so I'd buy my games for The Easy Bake Oven if that's what most of my friends had.

PS3 is my main console, but bought an Xbox 360 so I could play all the Mass Effect games in sequence, and then maybe peruse the other Xbox exclusives when I have time.

i dont have an issue with the ps3 controlller (i know alot of people dont like having the joysticks on the same plane and i cant understand that but for it msakes no difference.) for me the ps3 is a more reliable system so i buy multiplatform titles on it.

I have no problem with the joysticks. It's the size of the controller, the fragile feeling, and the squishy shoulder buttons that bug the shit out of me.

Uncharted and God of War.

uncharted is pretty shitty, just saying. if the game was half price (due to length) it would be epic tho. BARGIN BIN TITLE.

uncharted 2 is incredible. never played the first.

the multiplayer of 2 was really fun too. single player though, even short as it was (10-15 hours depending on the person), is worth every penny imo. i only rented it, but i would have gladly spent the $60 on it if i had the money at the time. i may buy 3 solely based on the fact that 2 was incredible

it was just good. one of those cases where quality over quantity actually meant something. felt so fulfilled after playing it. one of the best single player experiences i have ever played.

i dunno man, i bought the first one and beat that night was soooooooooooooooooooooo pissed. so i just borrowed the sequal...and beat it in like 2 days. best money i never spent.

(great game, but 2 days isnt worth $60.)

This, it always felt far too light as well.

The game systems I have owned from each gen are as follows

NES - Great system
SNES/Genesis - Probably two of the top three systems
PSX/N64 - Wasted hundreds of hours of my life on these.
PS2 - Best system yet imo.
Xbox 36/PS3 - Love my 360, Sold PS3 as MGS4 was a letdown,and I had no plans to purchase exclusives other then that.

Especially since their "no single player DLC" statement practically confirmed a new iteration of Uncharted.

I still can't imagine buying or selling a system or only one game.

As I told Destor, MGS3 is my favorite game and I had huge expectations for it.

I got Resistance, MGS4 and some crap Racing game. I played MGS and Resistance which was good and decided there wasn't much else besides GOW that I wanted to play that was exclusive.

Around 8 months later, a coworker was pushing hard to get an XBox and this game called Modern Warfare. :(

Still not seeing why you sold your PS3.

lol, well also MGS4 and GoW3 and i use it as my primary system and my primary blue ray player soooooooooooooo i'd say it was a win. but yeah KH3 was my main reason for getting the ps3. im patient. :p

At the time, I wanted a 7th Gen Machine. MGS4 was a very big influence on my decision.

I bought the system for $350 and sold it for $400 too while it was still fairly new.

Still more than one title, really.

BD is a pretty big thing for me. My Ps3 is my media player for everything but music (PC). I'd almost call it worth it for media features alone.

you cant knock its functionality. And at launch it was the cheapest BLue Ray player on the market. or at least the cheapest i had seen at that point.

It was cheapest by several hundred bucks, and it's STILL one of the top-rated.

In part because BDs are better optimised for the PS3, which means they load faster than on some of the faster drives (Some, not all), making up for the slow BD drive.

Plus, now it's my Netflix player, because it's got better quality than the 360 version. I don't know why, but....

And, it happens to have some good titles. Win-win.
