Just Cause 2 Question
 

Okay, so I bought Just Cause last year and never got around to playing it until now.

Decently fun game, but I get bored with traveling back to strongholds in order to save. So the question I have about the sequel, is did they fix this?

The demo told me almost everything I needed to know about Just Cause 2. Almost. I know they changed a lot of the stuff I don't like about this game. Just wondering, with such a huge map, do you still have to slog back to base just to save your progress?

I know I've been spoiled by autosave systems, but I like it that way.

I think it autosaves progress now, but you still spawn in strongholds when you reload.

Pretty sure you can manually save your progress anywhere anyway.

Groovy.

Manually saving is fine. It's just annoying when you're not even halfway through the game, and end up like 30 kilometers away from the nearest safe house.

I wonder if I'll ever find the time to get 100% completion. I'm sure I wasn't even at 60% last time I checked. Too much small stuff to blow up and find. :(

Fucking love this game.

Only thing that keeps this from being truly great is that there are no cheats.

No cheats in a sandbox game is a cardinal sin, imo.

It would also have made a decent multiplayer game as well, I think. Gorgeous map as well.
