Is "Play Date" A Good Term To Use?/TPWW Inv: Battle in the Field (XB360)
I once mentioned to my roommate that I had a 'play date' with one of you guys in some game, and I was immediately mocked for using that term. I mean... it's a date to play something, right? It's not much different from your mom making play dates with some other mom's kid (not that my mom ever did that).
TPWW Invites are play dates (need to do one of those, btw). It's the same thing sans mama. Is it 'gay'? Or 'weird'? Anyway, TPWW Play Date: Battlefield 3. This weekend. See ya. |
Yeah not really, it makes you sound like a little kid.
Call it a date with destiny instead. |
Okay.

I don't know about "play date". If I said I was going to have a game with someone from here, I'd just say I had agreed to or set up a game of *whatever* with *whoever*.

i hope you get lucky on your play date
