A very generous 3
He's talented, but he's also gotten waaaay more opportunities than most.
boring as hell, he gets a 2 because of slapnuts
For whatever reason was a fan of his as a kid.
I have never been a big fan of his. I hate when he does his finisher (the stroke???) Always looks like crap when he does it.
Jeff Jarrett is a solid competitor in the ring, pretty decent on the mic (one of the few guys with a southern accent that does), and is also one of the best heels. I gave him an 8 as he is more solid as a mid-carder than a main eventer, but I liked him as World Champion in both WCW and TNA.
5.
Liked him back in the 90's, but haven't really paid him too much attention in TNA. However, his feud with Angle was pretty intense, and their match at Lockdown was incredible. |
6, talented wrestler, knows the business, good mic skill, great heel, didn't like his super push in WCW, and some of his matches seem repetitive e.g. the use of sleeper holds, distraction, guitar shot, stroke.
7.5 rounded down to a 7...... I probably like him more than most, he had some great matches with Razor Ramon in his time with WWE.....
I'll go for a 7. I always quite liked him in WWF and WCW. Don't think I've seen anything from him in TNA. I would always call people slapnuts in school.
Hey Jurassic Slapass, i'm giving you a one.
Good wrestler, plays a great heel. I've never seen him as a true main eventer so he gets a 7.
6 i'd say, enjoy some of his matches every now n then.

A) Slapnuts hitting a midget with a guitar is always cheerful and... B) Even tho TNA is not the greatest, we would not have it to bitch about if it wasn't for Double J... |
3
If not for Vince Russo, he would have never made it past the mid-card. |
He's not been in many great matches but he was very talented nonetheless so I have to give him an 8 probly woulda gone further had not he left WWE.
7.
Always been a fan of his. |
Not as good as he thinks he is but he's decent. That's about it.
He sucks
I´ll be honest tho, I didnt mind him much in his last WWE run, after X´Pac shaved his hair, but as soon as he got to WCW with his chosen one gimmick, I was done.
7 for being solid all-around but not enough to say I thought he was "great".
6.
Decent wrestler overall regardless of the gimmick and pretty enjoyable at the IC/US title range but never liked him when he was the main focus of WCW or TNA. He's not strong enough to carry a big promotion as a top wrestler or at least for long periods of time like in TNA. |

I only liked his "Double J Cowboy" gimmick in the WWF, mostly because of his "flashing lights" outfit. But he defeated one of my all-time favorites, Razor Ramon, for the IC Title, so...I'll vote a 1. |
I gave him a 7 because of his earlier stuff. His persona, in-ring ability and all. Not too shabby, better than average. But the guy is extremely inflated.
Poor man's Triple H. I'll leave you to draw your own parallels.
5 from me - Decent wrestler, not much personality, and his matches usually bore me (guitar shot....again...and again...).
He's really more of a mediocre mid-card guy who suffers from delusions of grandeur. |
3 because he pisses me off.
6
and that is mostly due to his hit country single "i cant wait to be alone with my baby tonight" |
I gave a very generous 6.
He brings a fair amount to the table, but most of it's NOT in-ring |
7. High quality midcard heel. I just wish he could've accepted that that's what he's suited to sooner.
I disliked Jarrett right up until this past year. The MMA stuff he did was hilarious, the fued with Angle was great and then the Mexico stuff was/is great too.
I feel he's madly under-rated due to his mega push in WCW and putting himself on top in his own company. 7 |
7 - Predominantly down to the fact that he started TNA and has competed in WCW, WWF and NWA. I've never awknoledged him as a legitimate Upper card wrestler, he shoudnt have been a focal point for any organisation.
I felt the MMA angle in TNA was immature and boring, however, his tag team career in WWF with Owen Hart was admirable. |
