Can they find an audience? (Lucha Libre USA)

I started watching this on MTV 2 when they brought it back, but it looks like it was canceled again (it's been off and on since 2010). It's an intresting take on combining Mexican wrestling with American. They have some recognizable faces from Mexico, Japan, America and supposedly there is even more guys they still havent debuted. Do you think there is a market out there for another wrestling promotion on TV?

I think they are trying to find a better time slot. Seems that when I would finally have the time to watch it, they get it pulled.

Doubtful. It looks too much like Wrestling Society X did.

Nope. Who wants to watch that mexican crap? That shit is not serious business at all.

Mexican wrestling is not art like Japanese and American wrestling, so no.

I lived in Mexico for 7 years and it is more of an art form than American wrestling... A lot of it is geared towards the PG audience and then the final matches can get pretty ugly sometimes... It is different, and I don't think us Americans would like it too much on a regular basis because it is so different than what we are used to... But I took tourists and friends to the local promotion many times when they would visit and they usually enjoyed it... I get a lot of hits from my old you tube vids as well...

So I don't think it would fly here in the US, but it is definitely an art form, just a very different one...

Rasslin isn't art. I thought we already established that last summer.
