IYO: Do you miss the old WWE versus screens?
Where the wrestlers actually posed and did something? I don't even know what they are called.
Here are a few examples, <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6If--TWyRVM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/LkM41-x7wSU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (starts somewhere around 0:28) <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TP4Wker9WZQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (starts somewhere around 0:26) <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GtEhES9oysU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rF39WzwzkXg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I really miss them. I am not a fan of the new photoshopped versus screens. http://images4.fanpop.com/image/phot...78-715-500.jpg If this thread makes the slightest sense, do feel free to post your opinions  |
I don't nitpick so I couldn't care less.
|
I do, the photoshop thing makes it look naff, why can't they just take a posed picture of them with a title or something.

Looks like a round of Street Fighter is about to begin. |
Come on Juan! You want it! You love it! You need it!
|
I really don't see any difference between one and the other...both serve their purpose.
|
I don't really care over all. But when they're about to have the match or face off, it dose kind of give it a little punch to start things off with the moving video.

The Rock needs to lose the goatee, man...it makes him look like 10 years older...AND, The Rock has never had facial hair, except in 2004.
|
i think the moving vs screens are way better than the still ones. totally agree.
|
I remember the Shawn Michaels one was the best. He'd act like he was lost or something, then look at the camera and smile.
Something to that effect. |
The moving ones added a little extra flair to the matches. I wanna see Alberto del Rio do one cause the still he has is too corny. Its just him with a huge grin while everyone else has a menacing looking picture. Just looks out of place. But the moving ones were just cool.

Dude, that's a big part of his gimmick. He smiles and winks at people. |
In the moving one he'd probably twirl, face the camera, smirk and wink.
|
That would be so cool.

Cocky HBK/HHH |
That still frame is unintentionally hilarious.
|
Don't really care which is used although the video ones were great when they were actually made for a certain match or feud instead of just recycled multiple times. Same goes for the photo Vs screens.
Didn't really like when the WWE would half-ass a photo Vs screen by just photoshopping a title on someone instead of just taking a new picture. |
I honestly thought the WWE still did them.

Weird choice of an actor, though. |
Wow, according to Wikipedia, The Rock is 39 years old.
