Yeah, already renewed for a second season too.

The commercials make me laugh when they say "even experts won't believe the new look!" I just wanna know wtf qualifies you as an expert judge of how hot a chick is after surgery. Seriously, I want that job.

And the weird thing about the show is, only some of the chicks are entered into the beauty contest thing. So it's like, "you're pretty now, but not pretty enough." :wtf:

Yeah, when I saw the promo's for this I was just shocked at how low Fox can go. Just the fact that they referred to all the ladies as "ugly ducklings" before the surgery is just an insult to women everywhere.

To be fair to Fox they just stole the idea from ABC by combining Are You Hot? with Extreme Makeover

So this is a show about plastic surgery? Reality TV is getting retarded(er).

Based on the ads, my understand is that they take two "ugly ducklings" (who usually fine but don't fit the correct mold) then make them go through plastic surgery and dieting for a while with no mirrors.

Then the person finally sees themself in a mirror and crys a bunch. Then some beauty experts judge which of the two is more beautiful.

According to the commercials this is supposed to culminate in the ultimate beauty competiton to crown "The Swan" (which I don't see the point of as the women have already gotten their plastic surgery, so some bogus beauty contest really means nothing)

Luckily, it's on the same time RAW is so I can conveniently miss it :y:

my wife watches it sometimes. i always tell her, "this is sick". :nono:

Even so, it is the highest rated "makeover"-esque show on TV. :-\

Isn't it nice to know that as bad as Raw can get, there's always a bigger piece of crud on?

I watched it Monday because I was curious.

One of them looked sooo scary after surgery.

Also, why are almost all of them blonde?
