kane return promo

i have been thinking, since they are portaying it as a "masked kane" return, could they be building towards taker vs masked kane at mania? the inner mark inside me would love to see taker and kane at mania, maybe in a HIAC or inferno match, something like that..if its takers last mania, i would think it would be right to have it be against kane.

Juan 11-26-2011 01:55 AM

The mask fell to the ground and was on fire. How is that portraying that he's gonna return wearing the mask?

Not to mention the fact that you can see Kane's (unmasked face) in the mirror during the promo

Aguakate 11-26-2011 01:55 AM

Mark will not allow that to happen.

Glenn can't give him a good match.

Juan 11-26-2011 01:56 AM

Shut up

Marks ruin everything...

MIZantine Empire 11-26-2011 05:58 AM

just was a possible scenario. with their slow bringing back of attitude era esque things like the old IC Title (yes i know that was around before that era) the rock, mick foley, etc..i just think for takers last mania match it has to be someone iconic in takers wwe run. foley and kane are the only ones that spring to mind.

Nicky Fives 11-26-2011 10:13 AM

He's never faced Foley at Wrestlemania..... The match wouldn't be a 5-star classic, but for nostalgia's sake, it would be awesome.....

GARBAGE WRESTLING FTW.

Aguakate 11-26-2011 10:57 AM

I just hope it isn't Kane/Undertaker at 'Mania.

This feud ran its course...

Or in WWE terms, it's still relatively fresh.

Kane enters the ring and eliminates 7 people upon his entrance. Keep the Rumble going and make Kane look strong and gradually eliminate more people, in the process breaking his own record for most number of eliminations in one Rumble. Just as it looks like he’s going to win, have Mark Henry come down and eliminate Kane because he sees Kane as a threat to his title. At Elimination Chamber, have Kane cost Henry the title, which sets up a match at WrestleMania.

Corporate CockSnogger 11-26-2011 05:56 PM

Kane should come out in his mask and shag a rabbit in the ring.

With the black towel he used to wear over his head after he unmasked also.

Xero 11-26-2011 06:41 PM

So he's emotionally burned again?

Cuzziebro 11-26-2011 08:30 PM

Or he is physically burned? or burnt?

Theo Dious 11-27-2011 01:03 AM

Maybe he watched Survivor Series and remembered that back when he wore a mask he got to hang out with guys like the Rock and be all cool and shit?

Sting Fan 11-27-2011 01:23 AM

Might be worth noting when the window is smashed he appears to be wearing his olsdchool Gauntlet.

He hasn't worn those since he was masked I don't think.

Not saying it means anything... Just saying.

so in a sense the "artistic" sense was a Once again Gauntleted Kane (Possible mask revival) Smashing the Reflection of CURRENT Kane because he hates what he has become. ENTER OLD SCHOOL KANE.

BAM. You and me Kid.

Sure why not...

Also as a note if you look at the shadow of him he appears to be repping Mask and Hair IMO.

Rollermacka 11-27-2011 09:22 AM

Just throwing this out there, what the hell diffrence would putting the mask back on him make? The main allure of masked Kane (for me) was that you didn't know who he really was or what he looked like. We know what his face looks like, he's no longer this mute, unstoppable killing machine, how would putting the mask back on him change anything?

Remember how TPWW thought Undertaker was new and fresh because he added a hat back into his ensemble?

Masking Kane will probably get dozens upon dozens of people here jizzing themselves, projecting some radical change upon it.

Besides, the common logic is:

  • X happened when Y was good.
  • X is gone, Y isn't good.
  • Therefore, X is responsible for Y being good.
The obvious conclusion here is that since Kane was better with the mask, Kane will be better if he puts the mask back on. It's like, magic and stuff.

And if the Hardys reform, all of Matt and Jeff's problems wil disappear like magic.

Wizard did it'

Supreme Olajuwon 11-27-2011 05:13 PM

Kane hasn't worn his mask in like 8 years. Dunno why WWE would even bother referencing it anymore unless it was coming back some way.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-27-2011 05:14 PM

I just hope he has new music or uses one of the old ones. Hate his current theme.

Lock Jaw 11-27-2011 05:19 PM

I think it signifies that he is returning with a Kane Mask Tattoo.

Skippord 11-27-2011 06:24 PM

come on Finger Eleven theme song

We all wear masks, metaphorically speaking.

No i just think he got too much sun on his vacation, then shaved his head again and has a horrible tan line that will seem as blinding as sheamus' whole body!

it worked for mysterio lol minus the mute, unstopable killing machine that is.

Heyman 11-28-2011 12:48 AM

Kane Knight fucks little boys, metaphorically speaking.

Theo Dious 11-28-2011 12:54 AM

"Metaphorically" means "in the butt" right?

Would mark out for him to come back with that long wavy hair and the facial stubble poking out from his mask and combine it with his 1st theme (above). Probably won't happen exactly like that but still...

GD 11-28-2011 03:14 PM

Kane had a hard time working with the mask on. I am pretty sure that at his age, he would not like to wear it again.

DAMN iNATOR 11-28-2011 04:38 PM

Hey, the guy's probably at least emotionally attached to the thing still if not physically.

Quite possible they could do a better mask for him.

lol Festus.

Theo Dious 11-28-2011 07:17 PM

Before he was saved by CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society, Luke Gallows used to get drunk and impersonate masked superstars.

Didn't the mask with the open mouth/chin largely correct those issues for him?

GD 11-28-2011 08:06 PM

I wouldn't know.
