Mind you this isn't my opinion, but the opinion a lot of people who hate on Jones seem to have. The argument is that he's "too big" for LHW, and that he's hiding in the division where no one is a threat to him because he's bigger than everyone.

While he is a big LHW, he'd get crushed at Heavyweight. Plus, he has some skinny ass legs.

Tell that to both Tito Ortiz and Rampage. Rampage looked just as big as some of the guys he was coaching on the heavyweight season of TUF Plus, I think he'd run through the vast majority of the heavyweight talent pool anyway. It wouldn't be until he hit the top 5 that I think he'd have actual problems.

People are always going to try to look for reasons to tear down a dominant fighter. No one really complained about Kendall Grove being 6'6 and fighting at 185 or even Anthony Johnson being a LHW who fights at Welterweight. Trying to say he's hiding in LHW is bs.

I think there are very few fighters who are well rounded enough that they could give him problems stylistically. However, Machida showed that if you get inside his reach he can be tagged and stunned. It makes a potential fight with Rashad that much more interesting if only because Evans may have insight into even more vulnerabilities in Jones' game.

That elbow from Jones changed the direction of that fight quickly. Have to give the guy props.
