Cool, I'm wondering two things.

1) Will it just be THPS1 in HD or is it going to be other THPS games as well. Like a few levels from 1, a few from 2 and a few from 3. After 3 we got THUG so they wouldn't put those in.

2) Will it be a downloadable game or will it be a disc?

I enjoyed the games up to THUG, then I lost interest. Looking forward to this.

It's stuff from 1 and 2 only, will be downloadable and under $20.

I wonder if the original soundtracks will be kept? I doubt it.

Could be fun to go old school. Play the old songs from my HDD and it'll be sweet. I was a nut for those games. Smart move considering the last games. Can't innovate, ride that nostalgia train.

THPS 2 & 4 were the only ones I owned and played the most in the series.

As long as they keep all the cheats that helped make the game fun and don't pull a dick move of charging for them (ex. Capcom, EA), I might buy the remake.

Activision say the original soundtrack might make it but probably wont.

Understandable. I'll just use my own tunes, I collected just about every old Tony Hawk track anyway. I even added some stuff that makes sense, like Viva la Bam's TV theme.

Psycho Vision by Suicidal Tendencies is the second one I remember the most after Superman.

I might get this. I remember loving the first three games.

"If You Must" by Del tha Funkee Homosapien was the best song to ever appear on one of these games. lol @ this thread being stickied though

I'm not going to buy this. We moved past this and into the Skate series for a reason. It's not worth spending money on, even for nostalgia sake.

I've tried every skate demo and I didn't enjoy any of them. THPS 1,2,3 & UG, on the other hand, I adored. So I'll be getting this.

Skate is amazing.

Still getting this though. Tony Hawk was bad from THUG2 and that was because of the horrible cutscenes more than anything. Then they got complex while keeping the basic formula which was retarded.

I got THPS2 on iPhone and even that version is brilliant. Of course I'm getting this.

Yeah skate took over because THPS got stupid, skate has nothing on classic Pro Skater.

when they olley off rails and stuff after a grind they look like they are jumping way too high

When does this come out for PS3, it's already out for XBox and every place I look it just says this comes out for PS3 in Quarter 3.

No official date yet but if its Q3 then I think its in the October to December range. Same for PC version of the game.

The game has been getting a lot of average reviews in the 7s and 6s range with even the early reviews somewhat unfavorable.

i like the nostalgia factor and having my xbl avatar be a playable character. other than than, meh
