Which member of Eveloution would make a better face?
 

Let's assume HBK goes heel, and Trips then come back as a Heel.

Let's then assume Raw needs another top Face.

Who do you flip? Orton or Batista?

I dunno, w/ Ortons mic skills, I love'em as a Heel, I don't know if he's ready to be a face yet. I think Batista might be the good choice as a Face...

of course, the asumption is it's HHH, because he'll be away and will have a movie to promo, and I can't think of a Heel when they had a movie coming out, maybe The Rock, but that was after he had done a few.

Out of those two I would have to go with Batista probably. Yes Orton would get more fans but right now Orton has some big heel heat which is great for his persona. Batista basically has nothing so to turn him face wouldnt be any different. So basically I chose Batista but I think I just backed up my pick being Orton. :wtf:

I don't think any of them would make very good faces right now, but since Trips is bound to turn when he gets back, I'll go with him.

I think Orton would make a great face one day but let him be the heel for now, build him up right.

Batista has the potential to be an intense face, a monster like Brock Lesnar supposed to be.

I would go with Batista but only if Flair goes with him. I say this because I'm not sure about Batista's mic skills and with Flair's popularity Batista can feed off that for a bit until he starts to build up his own fans.

If one of them had to turn right now I'd say Batista. Orton is doing a great job as a heel and doesn't need to change that any time soon. Batista would pretty much have to take over Goldberg's role to be an effective face at this point. Big, powerful, and no mic skills. Looks about right to me.

Orton would be an easier flip. But as we all know, easier isn't necessarily better. If they want Orton to become the next megastar like the Rock, they need him to be hated, like super hated. They need the crowd to chant "Die, Orton, Die." And it's true that the crowd hates him, but he needs that last big step. That's the key to becoming a megaface.

Batista is better for that role because Raw doesn't have a hoss face right now. If they were to stick him with a face manager, it'd be better. Perhaps Orton and HHH would kick Batista and Flair out of Evolution after they lose to a jobber team on heat or something. Otherwise, I don't see Batista getting any pops anytime soon.

Best choice of all though would have to go to Jolteon....:shifty:

I have a feeling that the fans will turn Orton face. I remember the reaction he got the Raw after Backlash and the fans were cheering him in Canada. If he keeps putting on good matches and takes down Trips as the new leader of Evolution, I just have this feeling the fans will start cheering him more.

That's the key, though. "If he keeps putting on good matches." Orton's proven he can work easily with guys who are known for being good leaders in the ring, but when he goes off on his own against guys who aren't quite the savy ring-generals, he seems to get pretty lost. I'd reserve that big main-event push until he can work well with anybody. I'd say early next year at least.

I wouldn't turn Randy just yet. I'd probably have Batista go back to his Leviathan roots.

Orton is great, but I'd hate to see them kill all the heat they just earned him by turning him face now. I almost want to say let him remain a heel until just before Mania... I don't know though.

Triple H is a good choice as even when he was at his most hated, the fans still popped for him at first. Probably had more to do with his theme than him, but still.

Batista ... just no. He has heel written all over him.

Now if you're going into Orton over throwing Evolution though, then that's where you have some room. The fans are sort of fickle when it comes to New vs. Old feuds. So it's best to just play it out. One night have it happen, don't try to force one view over the other and just let the fans pick who they want to cheer.

I'm going to have to go with the general feeling here - Orton, but not for a couple of years yet.

Batista is pretty good on the mic, actually.

I think it wouldn't be hard to make Orton a face, because when he started in the WWE, he was a face.
