TNA Fans

Have not been paying attention for quite some time.

What's going on with Samoa Joe? Kurt Angle?

Xero 12-22-2011 04:50 PM

"TNA fans have not been paying attention for quite some time."

Razzamajazz 12-22-2011 04:51 PM

stay on topic guys

Aguakate 12-22-2011 04:52 PM

Missing a TNA show is like missing a 3-hour College class.

You miss one, you're going to be lost for a while.

I am a fan of TNA.

Anybody Thrilla 12-22-2011 04:54 PM

I think the last I remember of Samoa Joe was a mini-feud with Matt Morgan after he ruined the Bound For Glory tournament for like three people. He wasn't on last week. Kurt Angle is feuding with James Storm after the heavyweight title fallout and a sneak attack.

Any other questions?

Swiss Ultimate 12-22-2011 04:54 PM

I remember when Samoa Joe was a big deal.

Anybody Thrilla 12-22-2011 04:55 PM

I still think he's pretty good. They just don't really seem to know what to do with him. He was looking like a killer there for a minute. Can't believe they jobbed him to Matt Morgan.

Kurt Angle:
Fueding with James Storm since Storm beat him for the title, and lost it to Bobby Roode, and then beat him again at one of the ppv's.

Samoa Joe:
Nothing really, every two or three shows he will beat some dude and backstage threaten violence then disappear for a few weeks. On the last show he was in the tag team tournament that is made up of random tag teams. I forget who his partner was though.

DaveBrawl 12-22-2011 04:59 PM

Well I thought he was in the tag team tournament last week.

Anybody Thrilla 12-22-2011 05:01 PM

Ohhh yeah, maybe he was.

Anybody Thrilla 12-22-2011 05:01 PM

I watched the first half of last week's show a few days ago whilst drunk, and the second half this afternoon, so who knows.

DaveBrawl 12-22-2011 05:14 PM

I was playing Forza and flipping back and forth so I don't remember a lot of it either.

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2011 01:06 AM

TNA had such a promising future. Push Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Abyss, Christian and Christopher Daniels as the top guys. Pull up ratings. Push new guys as well.

Samoa Joe they squander. Abyss sells punches from Sharkboy. Christian jumps back to WWE.

Seems like the only people they didn't fuck up were AJ and Kurt Angle...unless I missed something.

VSG 12-23-2011 01:09 AM

I like the theme songs of Abyss and Jeff Jarrett. That's all.

Theo Dious 12-23-2011 01:11 AM

They might not have fucked up AJ but they definitely dropped the ball on him. He should be the biggest thing TNA has going, instead their top story seems to be the Jarretts getting fired.

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2011 01:12 AM

Abyss could have been a good monster. I never enjoyed his super-hardcore stuff, but I thought he had potential. They jobbed him easily to Kurt Angle and a shit-ton of others, put him in a retarded angle with Sting, then Hogan and I'm certain that he's probably still selling punches to wrestlers he has no business even wrestling.

Theo Dious 12-23-2011 01:13 AM

The more thought I give it, AJ should be the god of TNA. He was the guy who had a chance with WWE and turned it down because he felt he would do better elsewhere. And while that has probably come to pass, he should be their fucking golden boy.

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2011 01:21 AM

Should be. He was/is better than Jeff Hardy.

Theo Dious 12-23-2011 01:25 AM

Seriously. But he's the guy who's not likely to jump ship anytime soon so they kick him around like an unwanted puppy.

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2011 01:32 AM

TNA blew their major opportunity to step out of the WWE's shadow when they decided to become WCW 2.0 both on television and backstage.

Rollermacka 12-23-2011 01:50 AM

Kurt Angle is feuding with James Storm they've been putting on some good matches.
Samoa Joe is in this random tag team tournament with Magnus. It looks like there going to make them a tag team. Its pretty sad bcause I think boh are good enough for singles competition.

Side note, at least Impact has some random entertaining moments. WWE has really become really stale and predictable

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2011 01:59 AM

I wouldn't know, honestly as I have not been watching either. I'm probably going to try and watch TLC and figure out where to go from there.

LewisTheTruest 12-23-2011 04:59 PM

Somebody find a link to the vid of Kurt Angle going into a local bar of James Storm's, whooping everyone's ass then lining them up on bar stools and kicking each one of their faces in. Most eneteraing.

bigslimjj 12-23-2011 05:07 PM

They had the knockouts doing a bikini carwash a couple weeks ago.:naughty::naughty::naughty:Very nice. TNA's women are hotter then WWE in my opinion right now.

They are hot AND know how to wrestle. The whole scene wouldn't have worked if you didn't understand the intricate rivalries that were going on before they were all forced to wash the wrestlers cars.
Haha, who am I kidding? Of course in would've and it was AWESOME!

Thats whats up with Kurt Angle.

DaveBrawl 12-23-2011 06:15 PM

Zima Ion looks way to much like Paul Stanley without the facepaint for my liking.

Between that and the multiple Tebow references the whole show last night had a very surreal feeling to me.

They look nothing alike.

Shiima Xion is money. Love that guy. One of the coolest wrestlers I've ever met.

I will say his matches with Nese have been amazing these past couple of weeks, easily my favorite part of Impact.

owenbrown 12-24-2011 05:12 AM

by "quite some time" you mean never right?

Captain of Fun 12-24-2011 05:33 AM

Did Eric Young become mentally challenged or something? Last time I watched TNA he was the leader of some global faction.

Captain of Fun 12-24-2011 05:34 AM

How does ODB wrestle with those tits of hers?

Captain of Fun 12-24-2011 05:39 AM

lol at the lockups tho

They broke the World Elite up when Bischoff and Hogan took over and then they ran an angle where Suicide kicked EY in the head while he was on the top rope and Eric fell to the floor and regressed back to what he was before World Elite with goofiness instead of paranoia.

RiX1024 12-24-2011 11:36 AM

I missed EY's paranoia gimmick, he needs a shave though.

Anybody Thrilla 12-25-2011 12:14 AM

TNA has been awesome lately. I can't believe I just typed that. EY is the man.
