Shame that he's hurt although I laughed at his wheelchair being made out of gold when he showed up on Raw.

Sucks for him. I knew he'd have basically nothing from the Rumble to Mania, and this pretty much solidifies that.

I hope they keep him on tv throughout his injury. Like what they did with CM Punk.

For a minute there I actually liked the "look" of Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez and the Bella Twins all together. It seemed like the start of an awesome group. But I'm not sure that'll happen.
Also, Del Rio has to learn how to speak better English. I'm not talking about his accent, his accent is fine, it works. I just mean actually saying the words he means to say. Like, for example, last night he said "My injure" instead of "My injury". |
I wonder if he's told to butcher it like that or if it really is a problem of his own grasp of the English language. I never really looked at that as a problem and just bought into it as part of his gimmick.

I haven't had a problem with it, but now, as he's been longer and longer on tv, for some reason it's becoming more obvious, and it just makes him look bad. His gimmick is supposed to be of this rich guy who's also good-looking, and very smart, having studied in the best universities.
It's one thing to have an accent, and a whole 'nother thing to cut off letters and syllables. |

Meh, I think del Rio has tons of potential but he just hasn't gotten the heat he did when he first debuted. Personally I think that because he isn't the heel that wwe thinks he is has caused the rating drain. Del Rio can't hold a candle to punk on the Mic, and isn't a bad guy you care about having the belt on because no one believes he can hold on to it.

So watching Smackdown and I realized that wwe is missing a huge opportunity. So like the funny clip above states, del Rio with ricardo and the bellas looks good. Hunico and camacho along with primo and epico should be working for del Rio. A "mi familia" group with del Rio as the godfather....
