Quick thought on the WWE network and a "what if".

Apologies if someones already mentioned it or what.

Do you think that the "re-vamped" ECW could have made it now with the WWE Network launching? Even if they did the "hardcore" style, and just had on the network post-watershed? It was Heymans promo on the 2nd One Night Stand that made me think of this.

I'm just hoping for unedited past ECW footage on latenight, but unfortunately, I believe we both will be disappointed.....

Actually, this thread did give me an idea for a new show.

Rip off Marvel and do a "What If?" series.

Basically each episode would look at a different "What If this happened instead of what actually happened" scenario.


"What If... The Megapowers Never Exploded?"

"What If... Bret Hart stayed in the WWE?"

"What If... Mick Foley was The Higher Power?"

"What If... Lock Jaw Was Finally Revealed As The Anonymous Raw General Manager?"


And so forth.

No idea what the format would be like, since it isn't like you can go and recreate some of the things live action. Would most likely have to be animated or something, or cleverly edited using archive footage. While a group of "distinguished experts" sit around and discuss the possibilities.

I wouldnt mind a "What was supposed to happen" type show. Have angles that got nixed due to injury/release/Benoit etc explained,like the two-man power trip/rated RKO angles for example.

WHO WAS GTV?

It would probably turn out more like "What the!!??"
