i do not like clint eastwood directed movies

Didn't like rockaby baby or grand turino. The charectets just seem so seperated from everyone but the charecters. And I can never hear the dialogue its like everybody whispers. Dunno.

Read the title on the front page and said "I bet this is a Clox thread".

Lo and behold...

He didn't direct movies called "rockaby baby" or "grand turino" though.

Indifferent Clox 01-21-2012 07:06 PM

I'm not dumb just lazy.

Sixx 01-21-2012 08:04 PM

Rockaby Baby and Grand Turino sucked indeed.

Eklipse 01-21-2012 09:45 PM

Right turn, Clyde.

Raven Reaper 01-21-2012 09:55 PM

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

And the other Eastwood movie I only liked is Firefox..

mitch_h 01-21-2012 11:26 PM

I like a lot of the stuff he has done, both MDB and Mystic River were good, and Grand Torino was incredibly entertaining. I really like some of the westerns he has directed: High Plains Drifter, The Outlaw Josie Wales and especially Unforgiven. I liked the underrated Play Misty for Me as well.

I agree though that the charectets just seem so seperated from everyone but the charecters

Indifferent Clox 01-21-2012 11:37 PM

Mystic river was stupendous.

Sixx 01-22-2012 06:02 AM

Grand Turino would probably be a movie about a stressed lawyer from New York whose wife leaves him because he always puts his job on the 1st place so he goes on vacation to Italy and finds true love there.

Destor 01-22-2012 06:13 AM

You're both. You can't blame your phone for you coming off as a complete retard.

Greatest. Line. Ever.

Shisen Kopf 01-22-2012 09:26 AM

I usually post from my iPhone and I don't think I have nearly as many fuck ups typing like Clox. Answer me this Clox, I you think Clint Eastwood sucks, what movies do you like? Not counting Juwanna Mann bc that's a given.

The Rogerer 01-22-2012 11:31 AM

Gran Turismo have the characters so separated from the characters.

Except, you know, for the characters.

Droford 01-22-2012 12:11 PM

Mystic River, Unforgiven, Outlaw Josey Wales, Gran Torino and Absolute Power.

fuck anyone who doesn't like any single one of those movies

Emperor Smeat 01-22-2012 12:14 PM

I liked Letters from Iwo Jima that he directed although it was almost the same picture as Flag of Our Fathers but from the other side's perspective.

Nark Order 01-22-2012 12:36 PM

Indifferent Clox is such an unintelligent person. That man has a child.

Jesus fucking hell.

Nark Order 01-22-2012 12:39 PM

Like, he is responsible for the life of another human being.

Indifferent Clox 01-22-2012 01:38 PM

Yeah didn't mean to imply it was a bad thing just that he managed to make 2 good films with the same topic and I really liked the Japanese perspective on that battle.

Destor 01-22-2012 05:09 PM

imo Iwo Jima was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay > flag of our fathers. but thats just me.

Do you ever have the balls to stand behind one of your stupid statements?

Indifferent Clox 01-22-2012 06:11 PM

I stand behind the fact that you probably should go be a lawyer or some shit and stop wasting your life on tpww.

You'd probably back down on that if enough people badgered you.

Or anyone, really.

You really are a "perfectly lubricated weathervane," aren't you?

Indifferent Clox 01-22-2012 06:22 PM

Maybe when I'm 40 and I've learned more ill be more steadfast in my opinions

Indifferent Clox 01-22-2012 06:24 PM

Fuck even if you became a lawyer and stopped posting I'd still miss you in some odd way.

You'll be forty one day, but I doubt you'll ever learn more.

JimmyMess 01-22-2012 06:28 PM

gook

Raven Reaper 01-22-2012 07:04 PM

Oh shit, I almost forgot. Million Dollar Baby was my fave too. Hilary Swank looked Angelina Jolie-ish as a boxer in this one.

Eklipse 01-23-2012 04:17 PM

So nobody likes Every Which Way but Loose or Any Which Way You Can??
Those are 2 of my favorite Eastwood films....don't think he directed them though.

Which makes this post pointless in this thread.
