What was your first NEW console?
 

My first new console was the SNES. I remember opening it up that Christmas morning, feasting my eyes upon what would eventually lead to poor grades and an addiction that would span 20 years. It came with Super Mario World, and my parents even threw in Super Mario Kart. Best Christmas ever.

Original NES. Mario/Duckhunt combo. :cool:

I had one of those when I was a kid, but I don't remember opening it or anything. I think it was bought the Christmas after I was born for my sisters.

There's a long jump in 8-1 on Mario. I was sitting on the bed and actually did the jump and physically jumped with it, crashing on the floor. I think I was like 3 or so.

I got the SNES with Mario Kart but for some reason sold it,only to buy it back a year or so later at a profit. Remember buying a Master System II around the same time too.

SNES with Super Mario World and two controllers.

Original NES with MArio , Duckhunt , 2 controllers and a Light gun.

Thats the first "NEW" I can remember. We had an atari 2600 but not sure how new it was, as I was young as FUCK.

SNES with Street Fighter 2.

Sega Mega Drive, bundled with Sonic and a japanese version of Phelios for some reason.

SNES, bundled with FIFA International Soccer and the Super Game Boy

My first NEW console was my PS1 I got it for Crash Bandicoot and War Zone, same year got my Nintendo Virtual Boy, man I loved that thing. But my first console was my brothers old Atari.

I remember playing War Zone and saying "This is SO realistic!"

Super Nintendo with Super Mario, Got it as a Easter Present.

Thru I did get a PS1 once, with NHL 98 and Independence Day.

NES bundled with Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt as a Christmas gift.

Gamecube was the first console I remember buying with my own money.

Super Nintendo was the first new one. We had a Sega Master used and eventually a NES used. Moved from Super NES to PS1, PS2 and then Xbox 360. All of those have been new.

I'm thinking my parents had the NES before I was born, so I guess the SNES with Super Mario World. Though I did go through multiple NES's that I remember being given, but the SNES was the first brand new one that I didn't have before I remember getting.

Not sure, I am not sure if my SNES (gift) or my PS2, which I know was new.

Thinking back, I have my doubts that the SNES was new. It had the box and all, but came with like 15 games so I doubt my family spent that much on me unless it was second hand and they got a good deal.

I know my PS1 was second hand as well, that came with 26 games :D

First new console was the first NES, with the Mario/Duck Hunt bundle.

Before that I had an Atari 7800, but that was used.

That Atari had the worst controllers I've ever used, the buttons and joystick felt as though they were resting in Jell-O - no responsiveness whatsoever.
