My sister's boyfriend lent us the series DVD of Firefly, created by Buffy/Angel dude Joss Whedon, or whatever he's called, and it's pretty hot.

A kind of Sci-fi/Western series.

It was kinda crap the pilot epi and the first couple of episodes, but after that it got quite good and I got into it. Then I hear FOX has cancelled it after only 14 episodes. That sucks major balls. :mad:

Channels that cancel good(ish) Sci-Fi's should be shot!

Anybody else seen or like it?

I loved that show. I can't wait for the movie to come out next year.

I only ever saw the pilot, which didn't seem too bad. Suppose the actors didn't do too badly for themselves though, since Joss Weddon went and gave 3 of them guest roles in Buffy and Angel...

Oh, and here's the best reason to watch Firefly.

i'd seen a few episodes here and there when the series first came out. i dunno, it was okay but i didn't really get hooked on it or anything.

Finally bought the DVD yesterday. Gonna watch 'em soon.
