How would you rate the Cena vs. Rock build to this point?
 

Obviously the real build to Rock vs. Cena will be kicking in very soon, but as it stands now, how do you feel the year-long build has done? It really started at Rock's return, which was February 14, 2011, which means tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of this feud kicking off on WWE TV.

10 = Perfect, 1 = Absolute shit

Dull, barely any Rock and since this Kane thing counts as a part of it, it's really killed it for me.

Probably would have been a 5 until Zack Ryder was forced to change a tyre.

if arguing over twitter and satellite messages is considered a promo, than i rate it with 1.

3 so far,but then they havent really done much to this point. I expect it to go into full swing after the Chamber PPV though.

I'd say 4 at least there has been some interaction but otherwise i'd say it's been pretty weak thus far.

it's going to be a great match to watch but the build up so far has been minimal..I think the real issue is when the feud actually started..way too early and way too much gap in between the start of it and the actual fight. Especially since The Rock is still busy with his movies and what not. So..2.

Well, for having one whole year to set this match up they have done a pretty shitty job if you think that cramming it all into the last few months of the count down is going to fix it or set up the build.

This could have been the most epic build up ever, one whole year. Two legends. All build around Rocks movie releases, twitter wars and gay jokes. Way to sell Wrestlemania.

This could have been the most buck wild and hot shit ever.

Not great, not horrible.

I gave it an 8 since I did not really expect much. Would have been a 6 if it was not for The Rock being on ESPN or talk shows promoting the event/match.

Thinking about it now it should have been a 7 since The Rock did not do anything during at the Royal Rumble.

3..... kinda hard to have build when one guy has made like 5 appearances in a match billed "one year in the making".....

The WWE really hasn't done much considering they've been teasing a potential match well before last year's Mania but they've done just enough to keep the interest relevant with the occasional references on tv.

Rock and Cena have done a lot more on Twitter and the social sites to keep their feud alive a lot better than the WWE in general.

Team Filmit has really hampered the build. I mean, Rock (who I generally consider boring and rambly anyway) brings it (via satellite), which leaves Cena responding to... a big screen. Oh yay. Oh, and lets not forget all the tweeting of gay jokes.

For fuck's sake, Mae Young giving birth to a hand had better build than this fucking match.

Just curious to all those who think the build has been awful so far (and I admit, it hasn't been amazing), how would you book it to make it more interesting.

Bare in mind, a whole year of run-ins, Rock Bottoms and Attitude Adjustments would be equally as boring.

It sucks pretty bad so I give it 2, as in 2 smelly turds.

If The Rock's time was limited, not book it a year in advance. Could have basically had WM end the way it did with the Rock Bottom, maybe have Rock be part-time commissioner ala HBK during 98-99 with Rock making Cena's life uncomfortable every time he showed up. You could even have Cena embrace the hate like they're making him do with the god-awful Kane angle anyway during elimination chamber by having Rock guest ref the Raw chamber match and screw him unequivocally.

Then we've had a year on-off build like we've had anyway without the expectation and some more interesting things from the Rock since he didn't just focus on Cena everytime he appeared as he could have booked other matches on the titantron anyway and on his rare appearances, interacted with other people.

I like how it started, but it just seems to have degraded into them calling each other stupid and comparing their E-Peens through twitter.

Bleh...it gets a 5 from me.
