So I am watching Kane vs. Jericho at Armegedeon... not sure of the year... and it got me wondering what are some of the great Last Man Standing matches of all time? So go ahead and post the best as well as your favs.... thanks

Those guys must run the ropes for at least 2 hours to prepare for a Last Man Standing match.

DDP vs. Buff Bagwell from Souled Out 2000 was INSANEEEEE!!!!!!!

But I think the best one was probably from OCW's September 2011 podcast between Psycho and some other guy.

Kane v. Shane (the entire feud, not just this one match) - One of the VERY VERY few bright spots in an otherwise forgettable 2003 in WWE.

Don't really have a favorite but I've always loved the last man standing match. Honestly I wish they'd start using it again as a way to put that final exclamation point on some feuds. Cena vs Kane right now could really benefit from a good last man standing match.

However, when I was a 13-year-old WCW mark, this match was insane. I imagine if I watched it now it'd suck.

watched the match... fast pased... good spot... ackward ending... DDP hits the Cutter and Buff still gets up before him. Oh well .... not bad 6.2/10

Knew somebody was gonna post kane v shane that was great and the whole feud was highly enjoyable.

Really I love kane in last man standing matches for me hes the equivalent of killers in slashers flicks who just wont die and its fun to watch the protagonist keep trying.

For a match that you would think would lend itself to classic brawls, there really hasn't been many that have stuck out to me as "great".

Actually John Cena vs Umaga from the '07 Rumble was pretty great.

Yeah, this is one of my favorite Cena matches. Great match.

Yeah. When I originally watched that match on PPV with a friend at his place, we both thought he must be crazy because we just assumed that the usual steel grate was covering the part of the stage where he landed as opposed to that cardboard or plywood or whatever it was he went through...

Anyway, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels (Royal Rumble 2004) was a classic.

I agree on HBK vs. HHH from the 2004 Royal Rumble. That match was brutal and amazing.

Personal favorite is the LMS match between DDP and Macho Man Randy Savage back in like 97. I think it was at Halloween Havoc.

Mankind vs Rock at St. Valentine's Day Massacre is one that is often over-shadowed by their brutal match at the Royal Rumble a month prior, but still a classic.

Watched it. Great! Been awhile since I had seen it. Shane and Kane embody the name Last Man Standing by throwing everything at each other in what is a "slobber knocker" for the ages. 8.9/10.

Cena/Umaga & HHH/Michaels, both pretty creative.
