Just had this bullshit happen to me last week and I had to send it back to SONY to fix for 129 bucks. Not having it for 2 weeks makes shit ultra boring when you need something to do. Anybody else had this issue?

Yeah, you have a point. I can't believe I thought my homelessness, lack of posessions, and struggle trying to get a corrupt insurance company to pay out at a point I didn't have the money for a lawsuit were more severe problems than the trauma of no playstation for two weeks.

I had this happen awhile back. Thankfully there's a place by my house that can fix it in a couple of days for like 75 bucks. Plus they installed a better fan to deal with overheating.

I had insurance and they did that. Fan had a extra wire attached to speed it up and it was too loud, fuck that. I took the wire out and the PS3 lasted another couple of months before it went again. It died again and I fixed it myself, got another month out of it. Eventually gave up.

I don't go in for that sort of thing, though I'm flattered.

Yeah, mine is loud as fuck, but I'm living with it, as it's the cheapest alternative right now.

Actually in a couple of the episodes he's playing on while doing ddx. :D
