Brian Kendrick is gone from TNA, ending his second run with the company. A TNA source cited that Kendrick was released.

Kendrick, who had been a pretty pushed X-Division talent last year, disappeared off TNA TV a few months back. Last month, we had heard word that Kendrick was departing but TNA sources stated he was still with the promotion.

Well, he's free and clear now.

Kendrick is already taking some independent dates and is set for a March FWE event. in New York City.

Stoner or no, I really wanna see Brian Kendrick "world champion" this year after those last couple vids. :rofl:

I am one of the hugest marks for Kendrick that there is. He was absolute gold during his actual push on SmackDown! in 2008 (when Freddie Prinze, Jr. was there, I believe). It's a shame that he couldn't stop smoking pot and ruined it for himself. I'd love it if he got his shit together and returned to the WWE.

Such good memories. I remember being so stoked when Brian Kendrick was given a spot in the Scramble Match. I think it would have been fine booking to have had him use his brains to win the WWE Title that night, only to lose to quickly back to Triple H.

Problem is, how much of his "character" was due to him acting and how much was it due to his personality IRL? If he changes his personality, becomes "clean", then he could potentially lose his "charm" as a character. He would still be a good wrestler though....

How big of a fuck up do you have to be to get fired from TNA?

It's pretty difficult. You have to trigger their "700 strikes" policy.

Not really a fair statement, as someone like Jay Lethal suddenly dropped from huge push to the unemployment line just on a whim.

Brian claims to have stopped the usage of marijuana and would like to return to the WWE. Rumors also suggest that he might have something to do with the cruiserweight show.

Seems to be a cool guy but I only cared about him when he was teamed with Paul London even the being fired gimmick is better than Spanky ugh.

I never saw a TNA match that he was in that was booked well. Maybe a change is a good thing for him....
