So I'm headed to the show tomorrow in Seattle.

Haven't been to a SmackDown since Brock Lesnar did his mariachi mocking of Eddie Guerrero prior to No Way Out 2004, I believe. The only other thing I remember is Nidia throwing the fur coat that Jamie Noble bought her with his cruiserweight title money into a wood chipper.

Questions: Starts at 6:45 so what can I expect?
Obviously there should be a Superstars segment.
Will there be an NXT segment?
Anything else I should know without any info from tonight's Raw?

Awesome. Hoping for another awesome Champ v Champ match too. I know they're gonna continue it tonight but I really wanna see Punk again damn it!!!

<font color=goldenrod>Supposedly there's going to be a "big announcement" about the future of NXT with tomorrow's episode marking 1 year since the start of NXT Redemption.

Since it's basically the new ECW anyway, I wouldn't mind if they brought back the "New Superstar Initiative" or something. I always liked the third brand being a place for the new guys to get their feet wet without having to debut on one of the main shows straight away.</font>

Perhaps they may finally tell us how many points the remaining contestants are.....however, I doubt even they remember who they're supposed to be.

Maybe an end to the redemption season.

Maybe a new season, while the current NXT roster gets moved to some other day for a new breed.

* Ted DiBiase beat Hunico

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Sheamus kicks off the show and comes out to a big pop. He begins to talk about WrestleMania 28 but is interrupted by Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is pulling double duty this week on both shows. Teddy Long ends up appearing and makes Sheamus vs. Ziggler for right now.

* Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler.

* Segment with John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long. Laurinaitis wants an apology for what happened on RAW. Teddy refuses and makes Mark Henry vs. Big Show for tonight.

* Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater.

* Eve Torres comes out and cuts a promo like she did on RAW. Natalya comes out and farts, which leads to a match.

* Eve beat Natalya in a quick match.

* In-ring segment with Cody Rhodes and Big Show. Teddy Long comes out and makes Show vs. Cody for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 28. Long brings out Mark Henry next.

* Big Show beat Mark Henry with the knockout punch.

* Backstage segment with Laurinaitis, Teddy and David Otunga. Otunga threatens to sue Teddy for pushing Laurinaitis. Otunga vs. Big Show is made for RAW instead.

* Teddy books Drew McIntyre in a match with Justin Gabriel and says if Drew loses, he's fired.

* Justin Gabriel beat Drew McIntyre with the 450 Splash. This time, Teddy appeared on the big screen and fired Drew. Drew actually cried before leaving.

* Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton fought in the main event until Kane's pyro went off and he came down the ramp. Orton and Kane brawled as Bryan escaped. Kane got the upperhand in the ring and chokeslammed Orton. Kane took a mic and stood over Orton, welcoming him back.

So... Orton/Kane feud? I dunno about this. Could be good, considering how good Randy has been this past year, or it could be a trainwreck judging by the Kane/Cena and Kane/Edge feuds.

Looks like Orton gets Cena's sloppy seconds again at this year's Mania.

ftr tho last years mania WAS UFCKING AWFUL. whole thing was just a set up for this one...so annoying

The dark match was Big Show vs DB for the title. Rhodes came out to interfere, Sheamus for the save.

Pretty good show, but it had the feel of a re-run of a pre-Chamber SD

Sigh.

Also, for NXT:
Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, and Justin Gabriel put Bateman through an intervention in which Kaitlyn kissed Bateman

Striker's announcement was that Regal is permanent matchmaker

Also, it should be noted that Natalya is face again, I think, because of the whole Eve situation and hopefully this stupid gimmick will end very soon

Natalya is going to feud with Howard Stern for Summerslam

Randy Orton vs. Kane? I would enjoy that more than Kane vs. Cena. Orton and Kane had that awesome No DQ Match last year just before Kane disappeared at the hands of Mark Henry. Orton was "helping Kane discover how to be a monster again." Unwillingly, of course. Orton should have no problem "giving into the hate," so the build for this will likely be a lot sweeter, with Orton just wanting to kick Kane in the head.

I'm a Kane mark, so I want to care about what he does. I think a match with Orton will at least approach interesting.

So Drew is going to show up at Raw after Mr. Excitement signs him as an ally and then he'll do the gay thing after WM more than likely #goodjobitmeansmoreJinderMahalSmackdowntime #uttersarcasm.

Since Johnny is SD GM next week, he doesn't even get to show up on RAW lol.

Well Regal's only the matchmaker. According to Striker, he'll stay on as host but really what the fuck does that mean anymore without a competition? He might be making a return to action sometime soon considering he told Curt and Tyler that he's "still got a couple rounds left in the gun"

Mixed feelings on Kane vs Orton if it happens at WrestleMania.

On one hand, it had potential to be a great match. On the other hand, it's kinda the first match on a pretty stacked card that seems to be thrown together with nothing really at stake. They were on an awesome streak of "huge" matches that typically wouldn't main event Raw or Smackdown.

Or he can just stand up from his commentary position whenever there's an argument between two people and say "Listen, sunshines!"
