HELP QUICK!!11!
Should I buy Amalar, Mass Effect 3, or UFC 3 today??
Prolly gonna wait of UFC butr am really torn between the other two.. HELP cause I want them both.. :naughty: |
Apparently UFC's online is really bad. Amalur is fun but gets really easy and repetitive.
I'd recommend Mass Effect, but be wary if you're importing a Shepard from ME1. It won't read the face so you'll have to wait for a patch. |
Mass Effect 3.
Didn't care much for Amalur after the demo, and my buddy got UFC and hates it with a passion. Minch is right about the online system. |
UFC 3.
|
Did you finish Rage
|
Got to third disc and then started/beat LA Noire..
|
Kris, serious question. What kind of mood are you in? You want to maybe fight magical creatures and explore a colorful and mostly care-free world? Bash in the skull of someone or Brock Lesnar? Or...immerse yourself into a dramatic sci-fi world?
|
Well, been on Skyrim pretty hard so I'd say more fantasy.. Been playing the first Batman game so I've been crushing skulls..
I'm leaning towards Amalar (cause I'm a nerd) but I KNOW Mass Effect 3 will be awesome.. I can wait on UFC.. |
Repped everyone in here except Iop..
|
i own all 3. wait for the price to drop on UFC. you can toss a coin on the other two.s
|
i've only played maybe 2 hours of Mass Effect 3 over 70 hours of amalur. i think the "safe" recommendation is mass effect because some people arent happy with amalur.

Definitely go for Mass Effect 3, I am gonna get it too for sure.
|
Still leaning towards Amalur..
HARDEST DECISION OF MY LIFE |
If you liked the previous Mass Effect games or the series in general get Mass Effect 3. Only problem is the character upload feature is sort of broken so your Sheppard might look different in ME 3.
Same could be said for UFC in that if you like the series, then go for that game. Of all 3 choices this one would be getting a price drop the soonest because its a sports title. Amalur would be a good choice if your willing to spend around 40-100 hours playing one game. |
UFC cause the other games are gaaaaaaay
|
I will kick you right in the balls, Evan..
Right in the balls.. |
Have you played the demos?
|
nope
I know what to expect with UFC and ME3.. Amalur is calling my name.. |
Well I made my decision based on my experience with the demo versions. ME3 had me then, even though I had not played ME1 or 2.
|
I beat both the first 2 and absolutely loved them, I just am more on a fantasy kick ATM..
FUCK this is hard.. (thats what she said) (and by she, I mean Spilchuks mom) |
you do not talk about Skippy like that
|
Buy Street Fighter X Tekken. It's better than all of them.

Couldn't think of anything to say for the game besides remembering it being a long game considering its an RPG and like most good RPGs one of those that takes a while to finish because of the good chance of getting really addictive to it.
|
hulk smash
|
Some people don't like games that require that kind of investment of their time.
|
I would say Mass Effect 3.
UFC will probably drop in value pretty quickly compared to the others, and I'm holding off on Amalur until the DLC madness is over with and I can get the inevitable GOTY edition. |
So what did you go with?
|
I slept..
Gonna get Amalur today.. |

Or ya know, they invest time in things other than video games. Nothing wrong with investing a lot of time into video games. It's just some people would rather do something else.
I know that I play games a lot less in the summer because it is amazing out here, and there is a ton of fun stuff to do. |
not really interconnected at all. the subject isnt 100hours of gaming in one sitting. it is of the time they devote to playing games (however much time that is.)
|
it all accumalates over a long enough period of time.
|
Yeah, but I feel like those types of games aren't good for sporadic play. Easy to lose track of what you're doing, if you haven't played in a long time. I know plenty of people who would rather buy games that they can just pick up and play whenever, and not having to worry about readjusting to everything.
