book it: Regals last big run before full retirement

I'm still working on mine ill let you guys run with it, and ill eventually post mine here.

DaBrasko 03-11-2012 11:43 AM

Que the obligatory "He should snap and destroy people".

CSL 03-11-2012 11:44 AM

there's no "z" at the end

whiteyford 03-11-2012 11:49 AM

If Bryan still had the belt just put Regal in a feud with him, pretty much writes itself, i say pretty much but what i mean is i'm lazy.

DaBrasko 03-11-2012 11:49 AM

what "z"? :shifty:

Rammsteinmad 03-11-2012 11:53 AM

I'd have him unify the titles at Wrestlemania 30.

Pintint 03-11-2012 01:35 PM

Regal wins the women's title under the name of "Duchess Of Queensbury" and has a year long run with it as other divas try to prove the Duchess is a man, but no one seems to believe them.

#BROKEN Hasney 03-11-2012 01:36 PM

Comes out and wrestles the green hoss "talent of the month" and loses convincingly.

#1-norm-fan 03-11-2012 02:11 PM

I think he's amazing enough to where a simple main event push would get the fans ridiculously behind him. Seriously can't imagine people booing him. No need for a heel turn or anything crazy. Add in the "Over the hill guy giving it one last shot" and have him win the World title and people would eat it up.

... sunshine.

Have a PPV/Special in England.

A few months before, start building up a feud between Wade Barrett and William Regal over who is going to be the first British World Champion, and who deserves a title shot.

Eventually, at the PPV before the England one, Regal wins number one contendership and vanquishes his foe.

At the England PPV/Special, Regal faces the champ (World Heavyweight Champ) and despite fighting with all his heart and passion, ultimately loses. He gets up to a standing ovation.

RiX1024 03-11-2012 02:26 PM

team up with someone and winthe tag belts will be his last hurrah or a match vs Bryan but not win the belt and then carry on putting people over.

Rammsteinmad 03-11-2012 03:22 PM

Wow, Clox's idea must be huge if he has been working on it all this time.

KIRA 03-12-2012 03:31 AM

Hes already my champ in WWE 12 feuding with CM Punk

Mr. Nerfect 03-12-2012 07:49 AM

You basically have him come out and cut a promo on a heel champion in England. Regal plays the coy "Yes, I'm a bit older now, but give this old rogue one last chance" role. The heel champion is all "You're a joke!" and Regal's goes all subtly villainous and says something like "Well, if I'm a joke, then it should be easy, shouldn't it, sunshine?" During the match, there's a referee bump and the usual babyface (the Sheamus/John Cena type) gets involved and cancels out heel involvement. The champion still manages to get the situation seemingly under his control, such as scoop up the World Title and gets ready to blast Regal in the skull with it. As the heel is about to take a shot, though, he's blind-sided by a Power of the Punch from Regal, who has sneakily applied brass knuckles in the chaos, and Regal gets the pin and wins the World Title in his home country.

The Gold Standard 03-12-2012 10:26 AM

Easy, you do not give him a run.

Nicky Fives 03-12-2012 12:31 PM

I'd have him mentor the likes of Drew McIntyre & Wade Barrett, helping them win matches and eventually respective titles, only for them to turn on him..... Regal would then win a #1 Contenders Battle Royal out of nowhere and challenge McIntyre to a match in England (Smackdown/Raw, which ever) and win the match and the Title...... He would then lose it at the next PPV to Barrett (who had recently lost his Title).....

Now that's a good idea, Nicky. I like it, have him form a Bluebloods stable with him, McIntyre, and Barrett.

XL 03-12-2012 07:22 PM

Yeah, I was gonna suggest a push as the leader of a stable called The Empire, including the likes of Barrett, McIntyre, Mason Ryan, Sheamus (maybe even sign Doug Williams or Magnus from TNA) that sees Regal win the World Title, only to be ousted by whoever you want to turn/push from the bunch of younger guys.

KaosDarksol 03-13-2012 05:22 AM

Regal vs Bryan for the world title. Regal puts up a good effort but eventually taps and either retires completely or stays behind the announcers table

Iop 03-13-2012 12:42 PM

Regal challenges Taker for his streak but Taker misheards him and thinks Regal challenged him for his "steak". The two then have a texas BBQ match where the first to eat the steak wins. Regal is the first to eat the steak, but then gets food poisoning and has to retire.

Captain of Fun 03-13-2012 12:54 PM

We have a winner.

Jari 03-14-2012 10:40 AM

Comes in looking for ridiculous suggestion from Noid - leaves satisfied.

Jari 03-14-2012 10:42 AM

Slightly disappointed that it didn't involve a triple threat ladder match at Wrestlemania against Val Venis and Stevie Richards though...

This, definitely. :y:

I would have regal come back sparesly over the next 3 months, picking up wins, and eventually get a title shot for the ic or us title at a ppv. He wins the title and loses it very quickly thereafter. This leads to the GM reinstating the flair rule, I.e. if he loses again he's out.

Regal wins till mania earning a shot against world champion Daniel Bryan. Pulling out a major upset, regal wins and holds the title till summerslam where Bryan cheats to regain the title and end regals career.

You seem to think WWE is ring of honor or something. :p
