The Worst Movie You've Ever Seen

I saw the "Favorite Movie" thread... So I figured why not ask which movies you guys saw that you just despised.

If this has already been a thread, well... then it will be one again I suppose!

I'll start.

Running With Scissors - I guess it didn't help it was a large group of us youngins crammed into a tiny apartment watching on a Friday night or something... but what the fuck. I can watch/handle a lot of movies, but this one to this day we still joke about among that group who saw.

Lock Jaw 03-27-2012 11:05 PM

Talledega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby has the distinction of being the only movie I have ever willingly turned off and stopped watching after I have sat down with the intent to watch it.

Don't think that counts since I haven't seen the whole thing... and it probably wasn't as bad as some movies I stuck out and watched all of. Will have to think.

Cloverfield, only movie where I ever fell asleep in the theatre and had to ask someone what happened on the way out after telling them I fell asleep. They did too. We both asked a third person who described what sounded like an incredibly shitty movie.

It's one of the best comedies I have ever seen.

However that wasn't intended.

Shisen Kopf 03-28-2012 12:29 AM

Two movies come to mind. I hated The Village and Paranormal activity was so boring.

I think it's meant to be so bad that it's funny.

Skippord 03-28-2012 12:37 AM

Paranormal Activity was at least watchable even if it ended a little badly. It spawned two others that were worse though. The whole time I can't stop thinking why aren't they taking this video to people to show some weird shit is going on in their house.

I still wonder how they spend 6,000,000 on that movie. You ever see the rifftrax of Birdemic?

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 03-28-2012 12:53 AM

O.C. Babes & The Slasher Of Zombietown

Skippord 03-28-2012 01:02 AM

The Ring 2 was the worst movie I have ever seen.

My friend and I host a small group every now and then. We vote on watching horrible movies with some rules (ex. requires a theater release.)
This fucking abomination is by far the worst thing I have ever fucking seen.
I could only handle about 40 minutes before I left. I had never left for any of the other movies of the group and this killed me. I can usually laugh at bad movies but this was just terrible.
Not only was it terrible, apparently it was a financial disaster too. I could try to describe the plot but..I don't know. fuck this.

Right? I read those and wanted to come through the internet and beat some asses. What kind of idiot watches Talladega Nights thinking it will be anything more than it is.

A Classic fucking comedy.

Probably doesnt live up to Akira, or whatever shitty Anime I assume these guys watch.

Hanso Amore 03-28-2012 09:57 AM

And for my answer: Jeepers Creepers 2.

Zeeboe 03-28-2012 09:57 AM

Step Brothers.

Corporate CockSnogger 03-28-2012 11:31 AM

Fuck off Seth, Return to Oz is great.

Requiem 03-28-2012 12:27 PM

Queen of the Damned

Bought this movie as soon as it was out because I loved Interview With a Vampire and had read The Vampire Chronicles and loved them. Movie turned out to be the biggest pigfuck of an embarrassment to a book ever. Terrible acting had me cringing, and too many details were totally left out of the movie. The book was one of the most 'lore-filled' books of the series, with so much information and history on the origins of the vampires in the stories. To focus solely on the 'celebrity' status of Lestat was a shamble and the movie was created solely to make money with no respect to the original content. They couldn't even get his hair color right for fucks sake. Absolutely zero effort put into the making of the movie, and it likely only made money due to the death of Aaliyah.

Even the author of the books later stated that she hated the movie and that nothing in it appealed to her.

weather vane 03-28-2012 01:04 PM

Zeeboe is so bad at everything in life ever.

Pink Flamingos

I dunno. I'm usually all for things that cross lines but this movie... just too much.

I sat through it once and will never, ever do so again.

However, I encourage those of you who have not seen this to sit and watch it just once. It's pretty fucked and I'd love to see some of your reactions.

Iop 03-28-2012 01:12 PM

Borat.
I didnt laugh once, and forced myself to sit through the whole thing, hoping there would be something redeeming.

Savio 03-28-2012 01:55 PM

"The Whole Ten Yards" trumps everything as the worst movie ever.

Paranormal Activity 3 was also very shitty.

lol perhaps you enjoy it and that's fine

I just think it's a gigantic clusterfuck and creeped me out as a kid

Corporate CockSnogger 03-28-2012 02:39 PM

To be fair I haven't seen it in years, but when I was a kid I always preferred it to Wizard of Oz.

Rammsteinmad 03-28-2012 02:48 PM

Son of the Mask was pretty awful. Dunno if I'd consider it 'the worst' but it was the first one I could think of.

Blue Demon 03-28-2012 02:56 PM

Freddy Got Fingered.

whiteyford 03-28-2012 03:04 PM

Freddy got fingered was comedy gold

whiteyford 03-28-2012 03:21 PM

I just couldnt get into Joe Dirt at all, did i miss something?

Schlomey 03-28-2012 03:21 PM

Adam Sandler Going Overboard OR In The Name of the King with Jason Stratham. 2 of the worst movies ever made.
