Ric Flair became a Grandfather this past weekend, which is why he wasn't at Raw this past Monday.

And here I thought he was arrested for knocking a fan out after they told him was a great heel.

I thought he flashed me...oh wait he did.

Do you think the WWE willacknowlege it. Like next week on Raw, JR will say, "Well, The Nature Boy was out last week celebrating the birth of his first grandson."

The Man Boobs are embarassing enough but to have a real life grandpa still wrestling in main events is pushing the limits of supended belief, right?

Flair: Wooooooooooo!

Crowd: Wooooooooooo!

Flair: Eh? What'd you say??

That was almost funny, but it wasn't.

Ric Flair is hardly in "main events." Unless you call the opening match of a PPV against Shelton Benjamin main event caliber.

He is a legend in professional wrestling, and will go down as one of the greatest of all time.

SO embarassing.

Was David Flair the father?

If so, you think this one will be an even worse wrestler than him? Or is it one of those "greatness skips a generation" deals?

Lord...where to begin

First off, I have nothing but the utmost respect for Ric Flair and his career. He's arguably the greatest wrestler of all time and has on countless occasions caried average wrestlers to legendary performances.

Secondly, of you look back over the past few weeks, Ric Flair has been in the Raw main event several times. Mainly in tag matches with Batista and the other members of Evolution, but still in the main event.

And whatever amount of respect you have for Flair, and I do have a lot, at some point it just looks unrealistic for him to be out there competing against other wrokers half or a third his age at a high level. To be fair, he does sell the idea by relying on "dirty tricks" but at his age he simply should not be a full time wrestler. He's put over younger workers, he's carried Batista in a tag team, he has done everything conceivable at his age with the current WWE roster. He's a grandfather. he should pretty much not be in the ring anymore.

Way to take a joke too far.

Damn, a grandfather. He is without a doubt an old bastard, and I would probably have to agree that he doesn't belong in the ring anymore. I mean hell, all he can do is chops and get back body dropped, but still, I love the old SOB. Hes a good heel and great in Evolution.

Plus with taking all those back body-drops and landing squint all the time, do you ever wonder when his hip is going to give out?

Think he has to land like that all the time because of his back, his right arm braces the fall.

Ric Flair is old... congrats and may their be many mor backdrops and chops in your future

I believe Vince McMahon is a grandpa but that doesn't stop him from wrestling occasionally. Not that that's anything to be proud of.

Now there's someone ELSE to job to Triple H the second.

Seriously, congrats to the Nature Boy. And may he hopefully settle down and be a good manager or something like that.
