"safe" martial arts?

Okay I know from the thread title ur gonna think I am a scared fruit or whatever, but hear me out. Im interested in trying out to work out in some kind of martial art because I think that would motivate me to work out (cause I get really bored working out alone and I like watching MMA and wrestling).

this said, I had a severe head "injury" and I am not allowed to risk hitting my head cause that could be very bad for me. Now this obviously means I cant do like boxing because from what I see, boxing involves hitting the other guy's head.

Now I know in every martial art u can get hit in the head, but are there any I can try that minimize, um, head hitting?

BJJ

None are 100% safe, none are overtly dangerous though when practice is done correctly.

Well something that minimizes risk to hitting your head.

I dunno if a trainer would be willing to train me if I say that I have this "limitation" of having to be careful w/my head?

BJJ, it's pretty much all grappling/rolling from what I can tell from my expert knowledge aka listening to Joe Rogan's podcast

Well in BJJ, wrestling, judo there is no striking so that would be safer for your head. In wrestling and judo there is more "slamming" so you could still have a head injury. There is some slamming in BJJ though there is alot more emphasis on different ways to get your opponent to the ground.
